As someone who had been skeptical on KO’s similarities to far driver from the beginning (since progressive E’s first video) it doesn’t surprise me to hear this, I have 3 far driver, a Bac 8k and a X-9000. KO refused to acknowledge any link to far driver until recently. I am yet to try a KO controller but I’m under the assumption it is worse then far driver in its current state. No amount of tuning can get my far driver close to how my bac 8k felt on my Surron, let alone the x-9000 that’s a whole new level. The far driver is a good option for a quad or heavier build like you mentioned. The low down throttle feel isn’t as important as a Surron on both my quad and crf build. The extra weight on the drive train’s seem to allows for some slight differences in power delivery compared to the Surron. I also think far driver has there soft ware way more worked then KO, I wonder if you can program it with the pc far driver software 🤔 Hope they can sort out the cutting out sounds a lot like the far driver phase over current problem from a while ago

Yea I couldn’t agree more most of these guys bought into the hype that was KO us who know what we’re talking about know ko isn’t the best nor will ever be asi Vesc shul will remain on top

How would a bac8000 blow up before your stock motor?

Probably no pre charge resistor setting on his battery I’m guessing Wears them out, or just unlucky

It was unlocked hahaha 65kw 1200pa haha and my motor isn’t stock got aftermarket magnets

@@SwarmMcReynolds so how many kw were you running when disaster struck? I have a gle bac8000 when I get a 72v can I just pop it in or do I need to change any settings?

@@MotoAlias you’ll have to change the battery from 16s to 20s but nothing else and I was running 40kw 900pa 😂😂😂😂

@alias Just saw your other comment and my reply was “Couldn’t agree more and I saw that comment too I think it was on Facebook 😂😂 notice how all the comments that are negative are just plain stupid are from ko users it’s hilarious 😂 but yea most are waking up and realizing that ko isn’t the greatest anymore had a buddy who fitted a motor yesterday and it didn’t fit 😂 he had to grind the motor and frame for it to fit quality is definitely dropping fast “
