Discovery Optics sent me a scope to try. I have some really nice scopes and I have a few not so nice scopes. In this video, we look at a few reasons why everyone one could benefit from a cheap scope.

I like the side charging AR's especially when you mount a scope. Because a rear charging AR, seems to get in the way with a scope mounted on top!

I have a Remington 700 Varmints Special with that scope. I installed it recently after the original scope had problems. It has worked well so far. It did the 4 corners test fine. Also the up/down and side/side fine. Enjoy yours.

I am looking forward to seeing how well Bear Creek has improved their QC issues. Had issues with them a few years ago and haven't tried them since.

I am glad you corrected and said that a $500 optic is not quite budget price, kinda high in my book.

This one is actually $350 but ya generically speaking I’d say sub $500 is the line. Especially for a “big” scope like this one.

I wonder how that'll handle with my .338 Lapua. For now my monstrum scope has lasted for a while and is amazing. By the way from personal experience tear down the BCA upper and tighten all the bolts.

I like a good quality scope, but I dont want to swap around scopes and I have a lot of guns that need scopes. Nice to find some cheaper options that work.

Buyer Beware: discovery optics does not honor their warranty mine failed after only two years , turrets seized up, discovery says they won’t do anything, won’t even let me send it in, asks if I would like to buy a replacement, no more discovery optics products for me !!!!
