1 lakh rupees per annum or 8,500 per month to the Mothers of low income households seems a good welfare initiative. It will help to lift families out of poverty, and stimulate the economy with the added spending power. It will lift the mood; and hope is a great tonic.

Some of these might be diplomats but they are not economists and if money is distributed instead of development, how will we grow and what about currency depreciation, Inflation. These people are still unable to learn from failures of other countries.

How it will come ? I am not going to pay more tax, Salaried person pays effectively 40% tax ( tax slab + all service GST) it’s not than enough. I also wants to get free money then why only BPL money give all tax payer also.

1. Demographic dividend. What are your policies? Give govt jobs. Oh but you also talked about pension burden on Army, lucky for you there is new pension scheme. Wait a minute your govt will reverse that to Old pension scheme. 2. Give money for consumption! Where is the money coming from? Oh at the cost of capital expenditure! Who cares where the money is coming from as long as it gets us to power.
