Exise duty in 2014 is 3.56 rs for petrol currently @ 33 . Crude was above 100 usd for 2011 to 2014 for 3.5 consecutive years ... Government collection from exise is 25% of budget .. currently raise that target to 33% of budget. mens 10lk cr..for FY22 only .UPA oil bond total amount is 1.7lk cr . . max .( for 10 yrs). We are going towards high cost economy. Where you have high growth rate and higher indirect taxes. When you can't chage it just change it..
