THREE changes would make it the absolute PERFECT watch: 1). Make the bezel scratch proof. Not sure if that could be done via a harder metal or just a treatment to the steel (i.e. tegmented) 2). Add a screw down crown for better safety in the water. 3). Increase power reserve to 70+ hours

Not a screw down crown. But still love this watch.

I love mine and the curved glazing (it is the medium size two tone) . I wear it with a Cartier navy blue 'deployant' alligator strap... very comfortable and very refined . It is less ubiquitous than the Rolex and instantly recognisable amidst those who happen to know what they are looking at. (Watch enthusiasts tend to forget that most people do not give a badger's butt about our watches, or how many we have.) I like it, and yes I am careful with the Gold bezel - it will scratch, but I can keep them down with an occasional & gentle rub of a jewellers cloth. A 70 hour power reserve would be pleasing.

For me Cartier Santos is an icon, most because the history behind him and the classy look. Cartier is King !

Nice video but I would argue that the Santos De Cartier medium is a better representative of the Santos family.

New subscriber. Very nice review. I’ll be visiting my AD to check out and pick up the Santos large, blue bezel on stainless. I love the look of this one. The blue bezel gives it a little pop!

At thus very moment, I'm Wearing the exact Santos model featured i. Yiur video. It truly is even more Versatile watch than my sub date. The watch Wears great, and something out of the ordinary. I own 3 rolex models, which are amazing watches. But, every party or function finds 80-90 percent of the attendees wearing Rolexes. The Santos in silvered opaline is a crisp, classic and versatile watch. When my wife wears her 2 tone Santos large as well, we present with something a bit different and every bit as much iconic to the several Rolexes we both own.

I loved the Santos when I first saw it on youtube, watched lots of videos on it, then visited an AD and put it on the wrist...what a disappointment, the watch weights nothing and feels and looks oddly "cheap". Such a weird experience with this watch.

I regret so much buying the Santos

1st wrist watch, and a pilot wore it apparently. doesnt make it first pilot watch. 99/100yt channels are full of crap. also cartier is for women, and only brand that caters women specially. so the sales are high. get some understanding before spouting nonsense.
