Each day, the animal kingdom produces roughly enough poop to match the volume of water pouring over Victoria Falls. So why isn’t the planet covered in the stuff? You can thank the humble dung beetle for eating up the excess. Eleanor Slade and Paul Manning explain how these valiant insects make quick work of an endless stream of feces.

@@doburu4835 ....you can't use human centric desire to determine the value of the mosquito The extinction of the mosquito will sent terrible shockwave both ways in the food chain to both prey and predators. That itself may cause a mass extinction event that you can't forsee. Just because mosquito harm us does not mean their extinction will benefit any of us. In fact their disapperance will likely harm us in a very roundabout indirect way. Which is the exact reason why such videos are made. To educate.

Haha it is kinda funny to think that while the "alpha" beetles are fighting, the female they are fighting for is mating with the sneaky "beta" beetle :D :D Then the fights winner beetle reacts to the female telling that he is too late allready :DDD

This. Poop is simply a combination of microbes and various materials, including the waste products of said microbes. Whether it's healthy to eat or not depends on what exactly is in it, as well as your own intestinal fauna (the balance of microbes in your gut), and what type of critter you are. Any time you eat any fermented products (cheese, yogurt, alcoholic beverages, traditional brine-fermented pickles, vinegar, etc), you're eating poop. Technically, some amount of microbes (live or dead) exist on/in everything we eat, so everything we eat has a little bit of poop on it. Going even deeper, everything we eat is completely made of nutrients that existed as poop at some point. Everything was/is poop. But of course, like everything else, poop is made of light. (E=mc^2)
