BS program is for research. Computation department at IISC is often compared with IITB. BTech is as per industry standards as there are already MTech programs . BTech, from first semester itself , direct core subjects and after 1st year you are ready for summer internships. From 3rd year onwards, the course is mostly interships & electives and projects . Since its in bangalore , its even more easy for internships. Attendance is strict & via biometrics unlike IITs where you can give proxy and attending class is not mandatory. Professors are a bit strict but helpful . IISC is academic oriented . Almost all Students are JEE mains , NEET & JEE Adv toppers ( AIR under 700) and students are humble unlike IIT students where toppers are kind of arrogant . No caste discrimination. All students come to IISC out of passion. Mess food is just amazing . Weather , greenery, heart of the city , well connected via airport , train , metro , bus .

Hard hai maths have major credit as well as core cs courses IIT doesn't have such level of maths requirements

@@alfred4407Bruhh, high number of suicides is not the consequence of 'only' hard coursework, obviously there are many other things to it... and the previous guy just that IISc's coursework is harder than IIT's relatively, he never said that IIT coursework is absolutely not hard💀!

MnC is hard at Iit or iisc. IISc course curriculum is different from IIT. First year itself direct core , unlike iit. By 3 & 4th year it's mostly Intership & projects, electives . First year the batch is mixed with BS Reserch people, where you will find extremely talented , extraordinary students who are little weird type whi are passionate about the subjects and not running behind placements.
