i am astonished that no one is talking about what i would consider to be a huge blunder from RBR. Not telling Max that lando was issued a penalty for track limits, max could have ushered lando through avoid the crash, and finish less than 5 seconds to secure the win.

The Race are basically saying that while Jos and Toto are poking the bear, it’s not right for the bear to growl back. Horners shot at Jos being available was hilarious. Jos has been stirring the pot this season and caused a lot of problems for RB. He’s toxic and they need to ban him from the paddock. People like Jos don’t realize when they are wrong and stop. They just dig in their heels further. Max needs to grow a pair and tell his father to stop for all of theirs sakes. Red Bulls problem boils down to two words. Sergio Perez, the man has shown himself to be incapable of even being in the same ballpark. Red Bull had a chance to pick up an absolute home run of a driver in Sainz, I think Daniel Ricciardo would be better than Sergio Perez.

Marquez before he left Honda is a good example of what can go wrong. Same reason I think Lec crashes so much. Pushing at 101 will end in a crash.

Max is definitely out driving the shit out of that car. I mean look at perez! What a nightmare he's in, yet max is .4 up on his final q3 run! I mean that's fucking nuts! He's absolutely throwing that car to the limit. The crash was meant to happen, because you can see how max is not forgiving to his own car at times, how would he to his rivals? One issue before the incident was that Norris went out side of the track limits and the stewards took their time to give the penalty. The penalty for Norris came out while he was limping to the pit. F1 should introduce a penalty system that the drivers can take themselves. Depending on the circuit the penalty can be a long lap, a penalty corner or a section of the circuit on the VSC pace. The driver has to take the penalty when exceeding the track limits. The stewards have than only the judge if the driver doesn't take the penalty himself. Example if the driver thinks he was pushed out and avoiding an incident.Such system also avoids frustration on KMag behavior in Singapore, as he would be passed by all the drivers he was blocking .

The problem at Austria started with tire choice. New hards instead of scuffed mediums. Then left rear problem. Extended pit stop got Lando too close to them. The punctures were caused by Lando. He drove into max's left rear tire while both were out of bounds across the curb. This is the move that resulted in the finale that we saw.

From the fans perspective, we want all teams having to win by the skin of their teeth all the time! We don't want any 1 team to be hyper dominant to the point where there is no competition. Last weeks race was epic and probably the best race of the season so far! The best racing for the fans occurs when the margins are so tight that multiple teams are real contenders! Last season that six second pit stop wouldn't have meant anything but annoyance, this year there were actual stakes and it made it exciting! Hence there's no need to make news stories about how any team can return back to being hyper dominant as that just sucks all around for racing. Also the only kindergartener in the room is Jos... Love or hate Horner all you want, Jos just seems to be embarrassing himself every chance he gets.

People always forget to mention that the rules of the sport are now designed to stop any team winning for multiple seasons in a row, so this was always inevitable. Since 2022 a handicapping system was introduced that limits wind tunnel time based on championship position so Red Bull simply aren't allowed to upgrade their car as much as other teams, and McLaren in particular have an even bigger relative boost in development having finished down in 4th behind Merc and Ferrari last year. Perez shows a pretty representative picture of where Red Bull really are with the development limitations they're carrying, while Max is proving himself to be a true once in a generation talent as he continues to put up a fight against faster cars.

Now, I'm about 75% sure that Red Bull won't win the constructors' title this year. If things stay the same (never mind it getting even closer), the best result Red Bull could expect from their second car is a P8 at best. The worst part is that Red Bull is doing it to themselves. They used to be the people who weren't hesitant to introduce new talents to the grid. But they're getting too complacent behind Max's talent and the guaranteed success he brings.
