Why NEW Brakes making Noise or Wobbling and Squeaking

after replacing your brake shoes you hear squeaking or wobbling when you hit the brakes, the main problem is usually grease or you didn't clean the area around where your brake pad go.

My daughter just purchased new pads and rotors and the guy left the plastic label on which clearly says remove plastic prior to assembly. And instead of using the new hardware that came with the new brakes, he put on the old hardware. Having to return both and get it redone.

Got my new brakes and rotor. But now it makes noise when releasing brake pedal. Took back to shop and they said they couldn’t find noise 😑

I wouldn’t use any cause u may get some in the pads and rotors

Same issues I went to service station noise gone after few km driving it’s reappear again break are making noise specially when do light breaking .

Mine doing the same thing brand new breaks and rotors OEM specs and barley put pressure and sqeeks , it's say normal for a few days but annoying especially after spending 600.00 dollars just for front . Vw

Check the rotor backing behind the rotor it's s sheet metal plate that can get bent out of shape and rub on the back of the rotor. If so just pry it back away from the rotor.

Those are not shoes. They are brake pads! The shoes go with the drum & wheel cylinder.

Most of the time, it’s foreign material in between the rotor and pad. Especially when creeping or going slow. It’s fcking annoying, but I’ve had to take them apart, the the surface of the pad and rotors.

The tabs on the pads have tabs on the end that make contact with the brake hardware. Grease the tabs on the pads and where it contacts the hardware. Hope this helps
