Hi I'm a 55 year old woman I started my career life after leaving school as an experimental job taker and seeing what suited me I then landed a job in a elderly care home was there ror 25 years until it was closed down and was sadly made redundant last year. Since then I had to take any job due to needing money and failing each time on my probationary period hotel work and another care home. I am now currently still looking for my final job but realising that the jobs now are aimed at a younger generation who can fulfill there quotas on short term basis with minimum pay with no future prospects. I find this quite sad as companies can go bust a any notice and without warning .at my age I feel like now im out aged with only the bottom of the barrel jobs available
