I'm using ATSAM 5D27 processor and it doesn't support odt, and in my design I'm using DDR3L, what resistor value have to implement in ODT pin of DDR3L chip, to reduce SI irrue. In layout I'm using T topology for routing

Good to calibrate the ODT for a good s11 and low reflection, however adding more calibration legs with switches could add more capacitance leading to bandwidth drop. Not sure, if there are serdes applications you know of which do not calibrate the internal resistor?

Hi Abhirup, that's a good question. Correct. There are a few SerDes applications that does not require to calibrate the internal resistor; for example, the recent popular die-to-die interface would be a good example. 😃

Why die to die interface is not need a odt calibration? The reason is die to die interface isn't big loss rater than other interface? Sorry I'm not good english
