Her dad taught them how to serve by throwing footballs. Yes, Richard Williams gave them footballs and had them throw them thousands of times! I think it was genius that he realized that it’s the exact same motion.

Y’all not to brag but my coach told me to practice Serena’s serve. it’s what I did all summer and Let me tell y’all. I literally won my games with just my serve. I got my opponents off guard by using top spin and a slice serve when they least expect it😂

Actually that record was broken a couple of years ago by Sabine Lisicki unfortunately (. Venus has a faster but not as reliable serve as Serena. What is even more impressive is the height difference. Venus is 6 '1" Serena is 5 '9". And it's very difficult to read Serena's serve. All that makes it the BEST ever female serve in history... That's why they were focusing on her and not to the girls that serve harder then her...

@ You are either not bright or a troll looking for a reaction, because, any person with half a brain knows that there is no way Serena would dope and still be allowed to play. She is tested more than any other player in tennis, she does not dope period, she is just a superior athlete and people like you are mad. The same can't be said for Sharapova who was actually found doping. So have a whole stadium of seats with that foolishness.

The best serve in women tennis history as well as the best player hands down!!! Actually, I think it’s time for Serena to call it a career. She just a shell of what she was and that’s understandable. The window has closed on the 24th grand slam title, and the record 23 in the open era will stand a long time. So, just forget the 24 won by Margret Court because there’s no comparison with the competition Serena faced.

Very interesting video, but there is NO WAY that Serena averages ONLY 2.5 fewer double faults per match than SHARAPOVA. Sharapova ROUTINELY hits 10+ double faults per match, sometimes MUCH higher. Serena routinely hits 5 or fewer, obviously a couple of mild outliers but even 5 is considered high for her. I’d like to see a citation or source for their calculation, bc it sounds DEAD WRONG.

Look up Pete Sampras. Serena has always said she modeled her serve on his. It was just as lethal as Sampras too. Sampras served to men and was deadly good. Serena serves to women and is the same. @@christine0513 Yes her spoiled brat outbursts , cheating with coach hints and bullying people. Seeing her finally get her ass kicked was legendary. Teaching kids to starve themselves with vegan diet is bad all around. She like an uber villan. Sad to see her retire before reaching the records she wanted to break. 3rd time Biancana destroys her she gonna hang up the racket. She can't take being a loser.

Despite last year's indecent behaviour at US open she has lost with full sportmanship a lot of grand slam finals in the recent years (2 times with Kerber, 1 with Muguruza, 1 with Halep)

@@xolaxola110 This old stuff is still unresolved. I guess that for you nothing has happened or everything was justified. There are people for whom indecent behaviour remains indecent also with millions in the bank (how can the millions be important though?)
