The thing that made the Easter egg in FFH work was because it tied into Mysterio’s lie. But when Multiverse of Madness establishes that he not only got the designation of universe’s right, but also got his own universe designation right, it goes out the window. This clashes with the comic lore of the main comic universe being designated as 616 (as it has been for years) and goes beyond being a simple Easter egg

So the 616 universe is the amazing fantasy or secret wars when the arachnid himself started I think and how come that 616 the chameleon isn’t in mcu if mysterio is here? This doesn’t make sense chameleon should’ve been the villian for homecoming

Multiverse of Madness basically told us MCU earth is 616. I don't understand why people are bothered by this, its the same number as the source material and MCU is adapting from that, really don't get why people are so bugged by it

Although this is true, it violates the rules of the multiverse set by the other movies No two universes are identical and cannot be called the same code name.
