The P38 will always have a spot in my heart because it’s the one that got me into Range Rovers. I actually bought a 2000 4.6 HSE a few years ago. 62k miles on the clock, $3,999. It’s been a gem! but you’re right that the L322 is glorious.

Farewell to your first L322 👋🏽 Excellent video. We are L322 owners of 19 yrs and I agree with your sentiments. The L322 represents the period before screens took over car interiors and when the RR’s were more equally weighted for farm and street use. The car is easier to maneuver through tight spots and she has a timeless look that ticks all the boxes as you say. I look forward to your next L322! Congratulations on 10k subscribers!

What many people don't realize is an L322's driving experience is super similar to a G wagon's. The L322 has a better interior (in my opinion) than the 2014-2018 G wagon, too. They also cost 1/4 or 1/3 of the price of a G wagon despite being as capable offroad & having unique features like the split fold tailgate. Thoughts?

Agree L322 the best RR. Something about the first 15 yrs of this century as most manufacturers produced their best models. From there on its all got a bit too technical . Look forward to the next instalment.

The l322 is the coolest RR,it have a beuatyfull design,i would love to own one but the Roadtax in Denmark is so unrealistic High.

Agreed, I also think that this generation of Ranger Rover will be a future classic since it represents the pure experience before the explosion of tech on dashboards. I think that the techy and touch screens everywhere will slow down in the future because consumers will want the purist experience once again

I wish you will be right, but 9/10 people or more buy what they have in a showroom and so manufacturers will concentrate on what sells which is what dealers order to stock. Black, white and grey boxes with screens in. That's not being cynical, it is just sales targets.

Hi Lucy test drive an l322 supercharged petrol 07 or newer. You can drive them in the clean air zones too. I promise you will fall in love. Cheers Luke
