How cool would it have been to have a surviving member of the sith species return for the sequels? Just think about: The sith species for a long while were thought dead. Their name tarnished by wielders of the dark side. Carving empires using their name brand to instill fear for millennia. With the death of Sidious, comes a surviving member with the goal of unleashing a new empire and wiping out the sith pretender’s legacy and the republic that drove them into hiding? The sequels or a kotor 3 would thrive here.

Ah but you see that counts as extended universe, and as we saw, Disney's first act was to throw away said extended universe (unless they needed something from it *cough* Rise of Skywalker's plot *cough* )

Truly an amazing idea would make an interesting plot even since luke would have to come up with the fact that te Jedi decided to terminate a race rather than attempt to convert then due to the sith being impossible to reach the light. (on a side note is it true that the sith pureblooded couldn't use the light side?)

This is one of two reasons why Sith states are doomed to fail, the other being the kind of behaviour we see from Vitiate. Turns out, an ideology based on seeking power at any cost will result in infighting and rulers paranoid that they will lose their rule

The behavior of Vitiate also falls in that category. He too sought power above all. Even if it cost him his Empire. Not that he cared about losing one, he had a second waiting afterall.

@@BigmertsFilmpjes yeah he literally told us that saw the Empire as a failed project and casted it aside bc of all the infighting and backstabbing that goes on inside it their always to busy fighting each other. Even the Sith stories in SWTOR is you trying to kill other Sith

Marka Ragnos did a lot of things right, but he should have spent at least a bit of his reign to sort out a proper successor. Both Kressh and Sadow had good arguments and neither was wholly right or wrong; it was their self-destructive rivalry that was almost the death of all Sith.

If I remember right, The Old Republic retconned that Ragnos wanted Tenebrous/Vitiate to be his successor but the latter might've been too young hence why most of the other Sith went for Sadow or Kressh. I could be wrong though...

I always found it ironic how Yavin 4, a world once dominated by the sith, would ultimately come to house the rebellion that would go on to destroy a superweapon of the sith.

This is ironically the final stage of the golden age of the Sith, and it was both to an end by infighting as it is the way of the Sith, and the ruination of the Sith and the eternal struggle between the Sith and the Jedi for thousands of years to come.

Betrayal and infighting comes naturally to the Sith and is generally the reason whenever they are on the cusp or have the chance to conquer the galaxy or destroy the Jedi, they end up snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, time and again.

I love the ancient Egypt aesthetic the Sith race and their planet has they even have something called The Valley Of the Dark Lord which obviously is supposed to be like the Valley of the Kings in Egypt

If the Daragon Siblings never discovered the Sith Empire, I doubt there will be wars between the Sith Empire and the Galacic Republic. Instead, the Sith Empire might waged wars against the Chiss Ascendacy centuries later instead.

If you guys ever get the chance to you really should cover the sith emperor vitiate who I will admit is probably the closest to Palpatine as far as planning and manipulation go. When I 1st read the book Revan they described him as being not a sith pureblood but a sith hybrid But then the video games have something different.

@@nickvinsable3798 You can put ... all you want but the fact is that this channel never really mentions Vitiate. Also if you look into the backstory you will know he did take a fairly active role in the management of the Sith Empire until the invasion of the galaxy happened. He even purged one of the interations of the Dark Council. Just have to face facts that this channel overlooks Vitiate 99% of the time. Vitiate lead the most stable and successful version of the Sith Empire that has existed. His empire lasted over a thousand years with very little damage due to infighting. Did it come apart at the end? Sure. But you can't have a Sith regime that works forever in Star Wars haha. Will get off my soapbox here but point is this channel does overlook Vitiate and most everything that happens during swtor.

Enemy infighting sure is a charming blessing for us good guys. Does make us all too lazy and lenient, though. Years of little or no flexing of muscles and minds, sharpening and maintenance of blades and guns, and construction of weapons, vehicles, and capital ships are not a good sign to behold.

Do the Sith deserve mercy? All they do is abuse the mercy given to them, break the treaty and without notice declare war. Not to mention all the secret assassinations they did during treaty. The Jedi was right, the Sith are evil, the best thing they did is fight themselves.... While the Jedi did comit war crimes, the Sith tries to compete with each other for the highest record.
