As a young woman I was horrified by her rant and felt so disappointed that her rant was getting traction, as she does not represent all women and definitely not me. We’ve all been hurt including men. I treat men with respect and nearly always get respect back. She doesn’t respect many men I bet and is surprised she’s not being chased by ‘high value men’.

Single guy commenting. I think part of the problem is that we as a society, American society that is, have VERY UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. We like to think that dating means absolute, never ending bliss coupled with instant gratification. That there is this perfect guy or gal, answer these question and our matchmaking algorithm we find the perfect one. This isn't fair or realistic, and you're just setting yourself up for failure. You can thank the media and the explosion of social networks for this. Doesn't mean you can have convictions and value you cherish. And there is also the paradox of choice, which I think Tomi ran into. Go to the supermarket and try to buy a box of cereal. There are tons of brands, flavors, textures, etc. So I guess Tomi believes if this one doesn't work out or is used up, she can simply get another guy. And she'll get to relive the thrill of chase when she first starting dating. Anyways... So guys and gals are exposed to the masses and forced to put on a facade. But instincts will always be there, and that is something Tomi is denying herself and any potential man. Men want to be providers to women, that doesn't necessarily mean we're obligated romance you 24/7. Doesn't mean women are obligated to be housewives. While most men want to be a providers and a pro-visionaries, we want women who are able to be complimentary in the relationship. And the best relationships, from what I've observed, are the one that are able to address their differences and give grace to their partners when their weaknesses take a toll. And this takes time and lots of patience. If this is all it takes to make Tomi irate, then she'll keep wondering why no guy wants to approach her. Granted, she's a beauty and has a good net worth for someone under 30. But those things will fade.
