Experienced Attorney Lance Fryrear covers Why Understanding The Status Game Makes Everything Easier. In this video, Lance discusses The Status Game by Will Storr, an audiobook he recently listened to. He uses the topic of this book to help make sense of the way the criminal court system works, and how it may help you understand people's motivations when making decisions. If you have more questions or think you may need an attorney's help, please give our office a call. We are here for you!

Ha! I attended a growth webinar for spirituality and the lead counselor was talking about this subject... today! Lots of folks like to point fingers at alcoholism, drugs, and don't understand mental illness at all. The counselor said food addicts are the hardest addicts to tackle, food is so pervasive, ubiquitous, and there are no immediate consequences (until diabetes presses on healthcare and our system). Second to that he gave examples of folks who need to win via the hunt or the status. Letters behind the name for Md, PhD, on and on and quotas - cha Ching! For law enforcement. A therapist told me that law enforcement is woefully weak in misunderstanding their OWN mental illness. They are trying to obtain status through power and coercion and quotas and they need mental illness care. Just as much as the alleged accused they virtuously earn their status through with trepidation. Animalistic control. Anyway, I like your unique take on things. I see viewpoints of alleged criminals, alleged victims, law enforcement, the State, and imy attorney, but also... Truth with a Capital T IS important to me, to my mental health. And I stand firm in believing that Truth will prevail - not in our justice system, maybe, but in our Hearts, with a Capital H.

And furthermore, many lawyers and police are doing a good job. And they are in the business of stress. I can relate because I was in the emergency services business, not in power, but worn down by helping people. Programmed to help others.

Status is hollow. We are ledgends in our own mind. And if you live long enough everyone who knew of your status will be demented or dead and have no memory of you or your achievements and it will be like you were never here. We are shadows.

No doubt the courts are more about them than it is you. Being serious, I also think lots of cops are lowkey gay too, and they try impress each other on a well...deeper level too.

@Frank Hue: Sorry to hear we were not able to help. It depends on the type of case and how that court is handling remote appearances. Extremely far distance cases are often too costly for a client given the roundtrip travel time. What type of case in general did you call us about?

We've been caught in the Child Protection system for over a year now. Our children are complex paediatric patients that the paediatrician failed to treat, so he spun all these fairy tales and got Child Safety to kidnap them with their medical issues unresolved. He could not have our children threatening his status. Child Safety is full of social status zealots who like to kidnap kids to make themselves look like heroes to elevate their status. Unfortunately for them, our children have not cooperated and Child Safety has made a big mess for themselves because the children have deteriorated in custody.

@@yodapintobeans2267 It sounds like your Mother may have had Munchausen's Syndrome by proxy. Our kids have a milk allergy. They were removed from us and cow's milk was given to them. As a result, one of our children has not grown in the year he has been forcibly removed from us. He's two years old and almost the same size as his younger brother, who us a year and a half younger then him. The child protection system is indeed used by people who want to get a child available to "adopt" and paedophiles are using it to get access to victims. There are also workers in that system who are aggressive women who seem to want to wipe out other families because they are competitors for their own future families.
