Congratulations to the Cute Little Owner of this Ignis! Few Days Back, I have booked a Ignis Sigma model for my 81 years old Precious Mother and saw the car in Dealer's Yard.Nexa Blue is my choice.Higher seating position for easy ingress and exit for my Mother is the main criteria for me choosing Ignis.As I own a Prestinely maintained YAMAHA RX 135 for the past 22 years, I love to drive this Japanese Engine more than anything. Soon I will be taking Delivery .

Suzuki Igins is a good choice, I own a Delta variant (purchased in 2017). The engine is super smooth, no complaints. Congrats, it is really a good city car.

No it doesn't. You have to get used to the handBrake-Accelerator combination when on hills.

Congratulations! for making a great choice. I am a proud owner of Ignis Zeta (2018 model). Me and my wife likes to travel and have driven approx 1200km in a single day, traveled to Kodai, ooty without any issues. Its a beast in a tiny looking package 😃

Sir, how is the car on flyovers in traffic? Does the creep function help keep the car in place on a slope or you have to manage the roll back?

The creep function won't hold it on slopes. You have to use brake/handbrake along with accelerator judiciously.

Any one please Tell, if Ignis rear seat is comfortable or too upright for long rides. Like 300 to 500 km rides. Will it be comfortable in Rear seats?

It is mostly comfortable. You will get used to the suspension. But i10 Nios rear seats are slighly better.

ignis is an amazing car , I own the Zeta Variant (Manaul BS6) purchased in 2021 The car gives an excellent mileage of 15 in the city (Mumbai) and 20+ on the highway The engine is super refined and peppy There are a few cons The headlights are really bad I had to upgrade Well that’s it 😂 The shifts are really smooth clutch is on the lighter side the build quality of the car far more better than other suzuki cars , (exceptions being brezza and a cross beat builds ) Given the petrol price in mumbai (111 Rupees ) such a mileage is really needed Plus tata has really bad salesmen , they don’t know how to talk After purchasing the Harrier also they behave like why did you come to the showroom

The behaviour u mentioned for Tata motors sales team is same here at chandigarh , no one bother you u will feel every one is lala himself , no one you ask why u came at showroom u move here and there to enquire like pure govt. Offices . Therefore I too decline plan to buy TATA. BYE BYE TATA

The backseat comfort is Ok. Not the best in class. But yes, the car is planted at high speeds and is pretty stable on highways as compared to other rivals.

The suspension is on a stiffer side and is more suited for highway and hills. If your drive is entirely within the city, you can also consider i10 grand.

Congratulations… i already own a 2017 model zeta petrol. I have upgraded the tyre 185/60 R15. Well Installation of Floor carpet & door damping will help in reducing the tyre noise. Good car cover & middle hand-rest will increase the comfort. Front dash cam will be useful for road safety.

I also owned ignis Zeta AMT August 2021 model Car is really superb for city use as I also have Honda City zx 5 gen. petrol for highway use but in terms of practicality in city this is best in all its competitors

I own 2018 Ignis delta Automatic.It is a pretty smooth vehicle, but in city traffic, i find the mileage to be around 11-13KMPL with AC on. Sometime shift from 1-2 is clearly noticeable. Apart from that, no complaints.

Most AMTs are not as smooth as CVT or AT. However, Maruti has calibrated its AMT really well and the lag is negligible. If you are going to use the car mostly is city then AMT makes sense. If mostly on highways then you can buy manual. I am getting 16.8 Kmpl in city traffic and around 20 kmpl on open roads.

Yes there are rumors of the updated Ignis coming in the market but I feel it will take a lot of time as it was recently updated in 2020 and there is no word from Maruti.

I10 Nios is a great city car. It is slightly better than Ignis in city. However, Ignis is a much better car for highways and patchy roads. So if your run is entirely in city, then can go for Nios, but if it is a mix of city and highway/ patchy roads, Ignis is a better choice.

Yes the suspension of ignis is on the stiffer side. It is a trade off between ground clearance and suspension. Ignis offers good ground clearance and to avoid body role, they made the suspension stiffer. Grand i10 can offer soft suspension as there is little body role due to low ground clearance.

Congrats on your new purchase. Does Ignis make any sense for touring other than city purposes? The suspension is stiff right and you can feel the car bouncing up and down on highways right? Correct me if I am wrong

Yes suspension is on stiffer side. But comes with good ground clearance, bigger tyre size and ample rear space.

Thanks a lot. We purchased only seat cover and matts for the car. No other accessories are needed. You should avoid any electronic fitments from outside.

Congratulations to you!.. I'm a ford freestyle diesel user. I recently brought this car. zeta amt, 8.51L on road Bangalore. Compared b/w Nios amt, tiago amt & ignis amt. This is best car in this segment, reliable, good ground clearance. Peppy engine (feels like electric sometime). Good build quality also compared to other maruthi cars in this range.

If your budget allows you to buy the 1 liter turbo then go for Kiger hands down. If not, choose between Punch and Ignis based on your requirement. Punch is more rugged and has more space for 3 passengers at the back. Ignis has better engine.
