I have the worst putting ever. 4 to 6 putts on the green. I watched this video today, went to the range and hit every ball into the cup. Thank you so much

I think you are confusing deviation with pronation. Tip is good though. Deviation is hinging of the wrists where probation/supination is rolling of the wrists and forearms.

Dean, Thanks for watching and commenting. You are 100% correct! The term, which I did not create for the putting instruction world (it’s bloviation if you ask me!) , is often referred to by other coaches. I address it that way as a response to poorly utilized bio-mechanic terms that “experienced coaches” use. In my time, all the way up to the PGA Tour, I have heard multiple coaches use the term this way. The hope was to use the term to get the video to come up when searching and delving into golf nerd talk. All the best!

Here is an oversimplification: The lead arm tends to be face stabilization, but the two work together to make it all work.

Watching poor, inconsistent putters I notice that most have developed a compensation movement in their swing, either in the wrists/arms/ shoulder in an attempt to get a better result. It is of course erratic.( too many moving parts) Adopting a grip that takes the wrists/arms out of the putting swing, leaving only a shoulder rocking motion seems to be the habit of better putters. Maybe this is why really bad putter improve using arm lock design putters? I have found that fitting a Kotahi grip and adopting the " palm up" grip as explained in the manufacturer's ( BJM) YT video, I found I could putt a lot better with a variety of putter designs. It helps, but if your putter's lie angle does not match your swing arc ( small for straight back and through/ needs a more upright lie angle, to wider arc for arc putters/ needs a less upright putter design/ longer shaft) you will still miss a lot of putts. My putter of choice is the Arc Master which suits my bigger arc path. Using the Gravity Golf method of putting works for me, but many cannot adapt to it. The Kotahi grip does not suit my putter BTW.

When doing this I feel like my forearms are super unconnected, as the right one is well above the left

Feels can become more comfortable when success is the result. If this is not improving dispersion or speed, you might need to give it more time. Also, every body is created slightly differently, you might get more out of it if you make the move slightly less. Thanks for watching and being part of the conversation!

Left hand low will do the same with the left hand. You will feel a difference in the elbow especially of the left arm
