2 important bits I think you should have added is the water turns to steam, when it does that the expansion rate is around 1600 times. Even though it is a small amount of water by expanding that much it effectively turns your combustion engine into a steam engine giving you a nice increase in torque (if you run just water you get this torque for free). The other point is on a diesel engine the combustion ignites the methanol so you get a longer burn time increasing power and torque and lowering emissions (that last bit will make greta smile........maybe )

This works in my Pajero FM Gen2. I installed Devil’s Methanol Injection I feel the turbo boost more responsive when I push the psi. It has a switch so when I want to use it and it helps a lot in managing the temperature.

So I actually read a long article on WM injection and it turns out the water boosts the octane. The higher the octane is of fuel the slower the burn right? So water slows down the burn rate of the fuel. Allowing for more headroom with timing due to less chance of pre-detonation/Knock. The Methanol evaporates extremely fast especially when it is sprayed as a fine mist, The faster something is able to evaporate the cooler it is, The cooling is all to do with evaporation and methanol is king at evaporation! This is why the stronger your meth solution the cooler your IAT’s are. You can easily monitor this in logs. I ran a pure water solution as a test and the cooling was minimal but the logs in terms of timing were very clean. Add methanol to the mix and the intake temps dropped rapidly.

Plan on getting it for my duramax mayor concerns with egr and soot building up , the programing holds timing out of it when exhaust Temps get to high another way it will make more power

That's true! You don't only gain power, but you actually coll your engine down (Engine + especially your Turbo loves cooler temps) And you constantly clean your engine.. What do you think are the most causes for Enginge failure? Right, 2:04, Carbon built up, which happens naturally direct injection engines... Those nice cleaning additives in your fuel never reach your valves or anything else before your valves...

How does water meth injection work for a stock pickup towing a trailer up a hill. Will it wash the oil of the cylinder walls and cause premature ware?

I kindly disagree with methanol, giving you a boost in octane, it’s all purpose is for the system not to freeze, it is the water, the cooling of the combustion that gives you the higher octane not the methanol. Just look at a brand new BMW, M4 with a water injection system from the factory it does not require methanol, just pure water yet does the same thing as a water meth system?

So if I tune my 2012 genesis 5.0 on 93 I can get a kit and just mix it 50/50 water and meth?
