*IMPORTANT* As someone commented if you were to spend 10,000 gold to buy each mini-set as the non-golden variant, and you were to disenchant every card, then you would make more dust/gold value if you were to disenchant every card from 1 golden mini-set. This is true, but it also limits how much gold you can make from this strategy. By doing this, you’ll will make more dust/gold in a particular moment, but you will be able to do the strategy less overall times. The golden mini-sets give you less dust for your gold in the moment, but you can do the disenchanting strategy more times compared to buying and disenchanting regular mini-sets. This will result in you beating the dust/pack average in the long run with your gold, but it will take way longer to do so. Will you realistically have that much gold to spend? I can’t say. But please consider this while using your gold. Don’t be afraid to let me know if I made a mistake in a video too!

this video is just incorrect, if you were to get non-gold sets and disenchant everything you get 2520 (using card numbers shown in video for a mini set with gold value 11600), which at 2000 gold a piece will give you the equivalent 12600 dust for 10000 gold, so non-gold is still more efficient

golden packs if you account for the 10 pack pity timer give more dust, as there are so many sets in the game its actually the best way to get dust, i would only get golden mini sets if you somehow manage to get through 10 gold packs of every set

to be smarter, buy the newest mini-set with gold then WAIT until the nerfs before you disenchant! that way you will 100% get way more dust. So far, there have been 100% nerfs every single time from every mini-set, so it's a smart way of taking advantage of their bad game designing or greedy selling method, however you wanna put it ^^

dang, i only keep 2000 saved up for minisets, i would totally buy the new one coming up for 10,000 if I had thought of it. especially since some of the card might get nerfs so I could sit on them and get the full value later

Love this! I'll never understand people who recommend buying regular packs "to build a collection". Newsflash: That's irrelevant if you're either F2P or only pay for the rewards track. You'll never get enough cards for a reasonable collection, so it makes a lot more sense to only care about dust and use it to craft a few meta decks each expansion. So the best seems to be to buy the regular miniset, gold packs until hitting the legendary and then spend all other gold on golden minisets that are for dusting only (ideally timing it to get the latest one pre-nerfs).

cool vid! one thing i would point out is that the video thumbnail doesnt really match the idea of the video. throughout the whole vid youre talking about buying the mini-set for gold, directly telling us we should not spend our money on it, however the only thing visible in the thumbnail is the dollar price tag loll. small thing, thought ill give you some other feedback since someone already pointed out that the video lenght felt a bit forced - which i kinda agree with (first time watcher so take this with a grain of salt). keep up the grind man, best of luck to you!

I mean sure you could disenchant the gold cards, but have you considered how awesome it would be to have a whole deck of gold cards to stunt on people in the ladder? They will be so amazed at your awesomeness youll probably reach diamond by so many people conceding the match. If you dont believe it then make a new video of you playing with a full gold deck o bet you get a lot of concedes as people will think you have a stacked deck.

While the editing is great, I feel this video takes way too long to get to the actual benefit of the strategy. The 10 minute mark feels very forced and the pacing slow just to reach it, a lot of redundancy. New subscriber here, giving you the feedback because I think the channel has a lot of potential.
