You are awesome Sam. The most complex part of the business is to make it simple for your customers. And, so it is the difficult part to handle. Only Entrepreneurs with true intention to serve, with long term thinking would take that pain. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.

So many levels of genius. And it just makes sense. For all people say about driving customers to your business, that is nothing if you can't provide nor deliver what they want to buy, and you won't sell well if you only offer the same as other businesses out there, who are established longer with their own reputation. If you need to stand out, you need to offer something that stands out to give customers a reason to buy your stuff by offering a better solution than other businesses are, those who haven't even thought of solving - and embracing the hard work to make it happen, by you taking on the pain, for long term gain!

Great idea and insights! @SamOvens I totally agree on taking away all the complexity away for the clients. Take SEO as an example, when you're able to provide the complete insights on the progress of your work, you'll usually be able to charge much higher price because they'd understand the complexity behind the works.

Hi Sam Ovens, Great talk, well organized and delivered, clear and to the point. One thing worth considering is the concept of competition. Your talk includes a well known example of one entrepreneur "swamping" the marketplace with innovation to push his brand. Yes, there is an overflow of wider marketplace benefits for associated traditional businesses propelling the Amazon operation. From my standpoint in the direct sales (DS) industry, we advance our group because there is positive internal competition....rather than adverse, and sacrificial business cashflow because of the traditional business marketplace environment "head-to-head" battle to win customer dollar. Delivering methods for duplicating business methods within our DS organisation has to come with the environment where there is mutual and equal opportunity to holistically benefit ( personal development and economic reward) because of a shared compensation plan. Every collaborating partner has equal access to developing a scaled Cashflow to whatever proportions they see fit and prepared to commit to. We do not have a "ceiling" or restriction on business volume compensation rewards.

You are a typical spark to those who wanna change the status quo of the corporate world. Ngiyabonga Sam!
