My ex threw everything onto me. And never took accountability for her actions. Held grudges for my mistakes and criticized me. She was damaged before our relationship and she didn’t get along with her own mother. I ignored all the red flags. And I felt like walking on eggshells. It’s been 9 months since the breakup and I’ve gotten a few texts from her, but I ignored all of them. I didn’t deserve all the disrespect. Her loss. I’m focusing on myself and maybe I’ll find better

I still grieve daily but i treated her great and she refused to get the help she stills needs for mental problems. She treated me like hot trash but i don't hate her. And as far as what she does and who she does it with(or) to it's simply not my problem anymore. God judges us all in the end Weav...I'm 12 days free and doing my best to heal.

It hurts. But honestly I felt like I was the one who was putting all the efforts and she was just there for the show. She left me bcoz she got someone new for sure. I feel bad for myself for believing her and wasting my time. Should have left her long back

Right again, sir. And, again, I figured this out myself, but it took ten years, a lot of introspection and realizing that I shouldn't overlook the folks who've been there for me all along. My ex is a lonely, alone man today and I have an appreciation for him still as a friend because we knew eachother for years before we got together trying to be a couple. I've decided to move out of state and texted him three weeks ago that I would send out a message to him and everybody before I left. I'm gonna keep to my word on that and it'll happen about the time that this no contact period will've hit its 30-day mark. We'll see if he responds. If not, life starts again.

I told my wife I wanted a divorce for a week straight , and she played it cool , so I go out of town come back she packing, I said where we moving to, she said she's moving back to her mother's that was a lie she went got her own home so I started going over there I jus stop going over there for me to call she texted me telling me she in a relationship do call or text then calls me the day , I DON'T WANT HER SO ITS BEEN A REAL BLESSIN IN MY FAVOR, GOOD BY 10 YEARS 😅

Does making contact after 18 months to make amends while I was in 12 steps program counts for breaking no contact? Not alcohol/drugs related. To be honest now I regret doing it coz I never received any sincere apology for discarding me abruptly 2 weeks before our trip to my home country and while I was waiting for biopsy results. After breakup he acted like I never existed in his life. The most painfull thing was this discard, we never argued but few times he used my insecurities against me and few weeks before the end I recon now he tried few things to make me leave him but didn't want to discuss any issues. Some people can be cold and cruel.

But how do you get over a breakup when the man that you love doesn’t want to be with you anymore because of a mistake? I was nagging him too much and I said some hurtful things like initiating the breakup when I was angry then he agreed and broke it off. I apologised but he didn’t want the relationship anymore. How do I stop feeling like I’ve messed up a relationship with my soulmate because of my mistake. It’s been 4 months of NC and I’m gutted because of my mistake. Any advice would be appreciated 😭🙏
