Thank you for sharing coach. I believe in this. I am a one year old coach but i've been doing alot of studies from different coaches and case studies including COPs. One of the team that i am coaching is using the same template for years but they are not able to get any value from retros and no improvements at all and you are right, they become mechanical. Honestly, i loved all the designs and retro templates but i never used one instead i get into the point and what is needed by the team and client. Thank you for keeping me learning, i hope your cohort can be recorded and il be happy to buy as well.

So happy it is useful to you! Listen, retrospectives ARE difficult. It's about improvement. It always requires some level of trust, discipline, and ability to get uncomfortable. It is usually a learning curve for coach and team as well. At first it feels more like an "event" that we prepare to. But eventually it becomes that exciting and focused conversation about our next best step. Best of luck in your upcoming retros and congratulations for learning so much and celebrating your first year as a coach!
