ao my guess is that this movie will cover everything up to defying gravity. and part 2 will be everything after that (possibly with more elements implemented from the book)

I’m sorry but I’m still not convinced by Ariana’s acting , she’ll sound incredible and she looks amazing but I don’t see the *pop* that glinda is known for, I still think dove Cameron would’ve been the perfect glinda

She's portraying like how she was originally written, channelling Kristen Chenoweth and it's absolutely perfect. Her voice is supposed to be annoying because as the character glinda grows from the "mean girl" so does her voice. At least that's how the original Broadway show does it.

@@sweetener23 oh she sounds great, that’s not the issue , her acting , facial expression, line delivery , body language..from what I’ve seen here I’m not convinced but I may be wrong, this is jsut a trailer afterall, I’m still gonna watch the movie but this is my first impression thus far
