I had an experience as well, on November 25,2023. I'm also a former occultist. There is a stark difference in the presence of demonic (anything that's not Christ) and CHRIST. His love completely healed my soul. All of my trauma, depression, confusion, anxiety, bitterness, anger, etc was wiped away from me in an instant. I received a lot of revelation in that encounter and what this man is saying about spiritual warfare is 100% true. I remember the feeling of shame for denying Christ and I wanted to hug him, but he was already holding me. I felt held, in my heart and soul. He didn't want me to feel shame, he wanted me to feel his love. I wish for EVERYONE to know Christ's love. Please, open your hearts to him, repent and follow Christ. If you could only understand that amount of PURE LOVE, you would never deny Him.

One of the problems of occultism or gnosticism is, that it is an extreme light. An extreme light that blinds as much as blindness in the darkness. It is the ego path. Comparing with the crucifixion, lucifer on the left, ahriman on the right. One is spiritual invitation and the other is physical condemnation. Both are 2 puzzle pieces of 1 puzzle. As Jesus flipped a table. Jesus transcends the opposites. For example: Appear good and take a vaccine (lucifer) or go in lockdown (ahriman). Life comes with good and bad and we all have to deal with this evil that presents itself in our heart and deceives us. It seems to be that this dialectical evil is very much in play as well in politics.

To those who point out his flaws and things they see as wrong. This man is a new Christian. A house is not renovated in one day. I have been a Christian for over 20 years, and I am much different and wiser than i was back then. I was involved in some of the same things. Instead of pointing out what we disagree with, let's pray that God continues to reveal his truth to him, to mold him, to change him into the man he needs to be. His journey has just started. Let's not be a hindrance but an encouragement.

I think that new Christians aren't the best to be teaching Believers that have been saved for awhile. The catch 22 is that we do need to be aware of our enemies tactics. Love to hear these stories; I was a self-professed satanist after falling away from the church at a young age...years later I ended up in some gang life, then prison for manslaughter. I have also seen and experienced the demonic, but more importantly, the love and grace and mercy of my lord Jesus Christ. What he’s saying is true. I converted to Christianity in October of 2023. I had faith prior but never surrendered or gave God time. I had opened doors throughout my life, was never a satanist, but opened many doors, which threw me into some spiritual whirlwind for part of 2023. I was given glimpses of the spiritual world. No drugs, no alcohol required. I was overwhelmed, but God allowed it. That’s what it took. I said ok Lord, I’m yours.

I was liking that too, but after reading some comments and meditating on it, I'm not so sure this is confidence in Christ or those he was doing these actions with. Many in the judicial systems all over the planet are involved with satanism, so they could help protect him in any court case. That already happens with all sorts of cases. Time will tell.

God is working on my heart with this very thing! We think we forgive but we hold little pieces of resentment in our hearts, it’s human nature. But the nature of the Spirit is to know that God loves the wicked just as much as he loves us and Jesus yearns to save them! So if we love them the way that Christ does, we can see them different and pray for their redemption. I believe as Christians that this is brings us extremely closer to Christ. Hallelujah. It is very important to understand that the host of a show just wants more views and likes they don't care about the consequences that will follow you as the person exposing darkness. It is even more difficult when the host of the show doesn't really believe in the dangers involved for you and your family. This guy, the host was not mature enough for this kind of conversation and I don't think he is a Christian and so even that makes this conversation foreign for him.

I did, too. I was not looking for it, was not looking to be a Christian!!! I always respected Jesus, because there was NEVER anything to disrespect. However, having grown up in a "Christian," cult, I had ZERO interest in being a Christian. (I had several other religions I practiced, was close to God, & felt no lack in my Spiritual life.) I had, for years (since childhood), been tortured & tormented by demons, until once, in a "dream" in which I was being tormented by a foul entity a Voice said "call on the Name of Jesus, He will help." I did, & the entity was gone & those "dreams" ceased. And, I knew how to cast those b@$tards out & away from me & others. I knew that Jesus will help you whether you call yourself a Christian, or not. Jesus Loves ALL & will help ALL, regardless of whether, or not one is a Christian. Jesus is LOVE, & Service, & Light, & Life. I Loved Jesus! I just felt no need to be a Christian. I had zero interest. However, one day... After starting to attend a Church, because Spirit told me to, & singing in the choir, because Spirit told me to, I was in front of the Church, singing in the choir, &... ....suddenly, there was Jesus, in PERSON, showing me things & saying "Come, follow Me". I was told to become a Christian, that Jesus is my Guru for Whom I'd been seeking for decades, that I must take His Name upon me, & CALL myself a Christian. Spirit told me that it would be Spiritual death to refuse. I was not going to do that! I eventually got Baptized & took my Sacred Covenant with Jesus, & became His hopeful Disciple. And, I'm so glad that I did. Thank you God! 💗 Thank you Jesus! 💗

Similar religious experiences are reported by those of non-Christian faiths. What do we make of that? How does someone from an outside perspective try to decide who's telling the truth or whose religion is the real one? A Protestant thinks appearances of the Virgin Mary aren't real but both a Protestant and Catholic might agree that an encounter with the Hindu god Krishna isn't real. But who is right? Which God encounter is real and which can we explain away? And why does God appear in such a way to some and remain hidden to others? Surely clearing up which is the true God is important so why wouldn't God reveal himself to everyone? Why does God allow these false testimonies to continue? The Bible says God is not the author of confusion so why is Christianity and religion in general so confusing?

I had a very similar experience. The presence of the creator. The highest being who is all powerful and unconditional love itself. He is the light of the world so there is no room for darkness: pain, fear, sadness, or lies. He is the source of all love and truth. Great podcast! Riaan, I also had a powerful encounter with Jesus, similiar to what you described and where I was absolutely flooded with the love of God. Once you have such an encounter, there is no other way to go, but back home to the Living God and Creator of the heavens and earth, the Alpha and Omega, the Omnipotent and Holy. I completely understand what you mean when you say our minds cannot comprehend the vastness of God or the love He has for us. One encounter with the Lord and you will never be the same..my family was in to witchcraft and addiction and so much more. I’m not sure how or why this ended up on my feed, but I can only assume the Holy Spirit knew I needed to hear every word. Riaan’s story is the most incredible testimony I’ve ever heard. What struck me most about this conversation is the impact his description of when he encountered Christ had on you, Josh. I believe the Holy Spirit is at work in your life as well and Jesus loves you my friend. Jeremiah 29:11-13 tells us that the Lord knows the plans He has for us, plans for welfare and not for evil, plans for a hope and a future. Then we will call upon Him, pray to him, and He will hear us. We will seek Him and find Him, when we seek Him with all of our heart.

He was pushing for new age belief and it made me wonder if what he had experienced was one of those deceptive moments the enemy pretends to be Christ. This is such a blessed testimony. His story is amazing. I watched his first interview from this podcast when he was espousing the agenda of the Satanic church he cofounded in South Africa. His second interview was a bit of a shock when he had the road to Damascus moment. He was a baby Christian then and still held a lot of his new age beliefs. He said he was going through delivetance during that time. Now I see such a complete transformation in this man. His face has become kind and loving and he's dropped much of the new age stuff. I cried when he cried. It's like if Anton Lavey became a Christian. God is great!

Christians can certainly be oppressed by the Satanic spirit of homosexuality. It is not very practical to think a high up Satanist would become a christian and immediately not have any issues. Deliverance takes years in most instances like this. We know whether or not this guy is a Christian by what he does. If he is acting in a promiscuous immoral manner, then he shouldn't be trusted. I have no idea what his daily life looks like.
