Thank you for posting this and remembering Michael Rabin. My Mother was friends with his family and I had planned with Michael to play Brahms’ Horn Trio, possibly with my Karen cousin David Golub. However, this was not in the Lord’s plan.

Rabin for me is the best and most exciting performer of these Wieniawski concertos. The 2nd mvt is hauntingly beautiful and emotional

Heard Michael Rabin play the Bruch Scottish Fantasy at the Radio City Music Hall Easter Show. He was in his teens. The sound is very good on this recording.
