Nice job using a proper Intel based WIFI 7 BE200 client adapter device that has 320Mhz channel support to test this routers complete wifi 7 capabilities, and then on top you used a dedicated local speed test server directly connected to the router, I can't believe some of the other KZfaqrs Wifi 7 reviews are just testing via their mobile phone's wifi and then leaving it up to the randomness of their external internet providers speed, what a joke and waste of time.

Finally someone that knows what they are talking about using openspeed test to test the LAN speed. Last week, fiber 2gb/s was made available to me. I tested my ERX with it, and I cap out at 1gb/s, not to mention that I can't fully saturate that with upload and download at the same time. I really wanted to stick with Ubiquiti, but I literally couldn't find another device besides the BE550 that had 4 2.5gb/s ports. My NAS and computers are all equipped with 2.5gb/s ports and fast enough SSDs. I plan on self hosting some websites, and doing large uploads daily. I can fully use that bandwidth if given the chance. I just couldn't find any sub 1 grand hardware that will do it. Not to mention I want to test it with my Quest 3 VR headset wirelessly with my PC. I have an older Ubiquiti LR AP so I am guessing this will be an upgrade. I am worried about decreasing range, but truth be told my wireless devices that are further away only need 4k netflix which is like waaaaay less bandwidth intensive. You sold a product to me. They should have sent you this for free. Excellent review.

Thanks this video helps me on deciding to get axe95 or be550. As for now, i still thinking axe95 for better coverage..what do you think? Btw, why 1st floor has higher speed than main floor?

i would go with BE550. Every house is built different, more walls, etc.

Great review, I have the TP-Link Archer BE550 BE9300 it's the best router I've ever had, I'm actually getting the speed I pay for from my ISP. Wireless I run AX201, AX210, BE200 cards on different machines, the others are wired with the 2.5G cards, and my NAS has dual 2.5G ports. I run a 2.5G switch from it also. I'm a happy camper with this router.

Though it says 1 gig port they are actually all 2.5 gig ports on the $250 model.

Dong Ngo discovered that all ports are 2.5G despite what is labelled on the device. "Despite the ports’ “1 Gbps” labels, my TP-Link Archer BE9300 actually has all 2.5Gbps ports."

I just bought this Router yesterday and got it up and running. I have a TV that supports Wifi 6e and my Pixel 7 Pro that supports WiFi 6e as well. I will be getting the new iPhone later this year. Should I turn on MLO? How can I make sure I setup my modem for its best optimization? I only have 1gb internet, hoping 2 or 3 gbs is offered in the future. My main phone I currently use is my iPhone 13 Pro

I am running my old wifi 5 asus pcie card with xb7 modem. Modem in basement and i can pull 600mbps on 1st floor. I think i will wait for wifi 8. :)

Noob question does it have wifi 6E ? My desktop computer has a wifi 6 motherboard with antenna and I intend to make two purchases in the near future an Amazon fire cube which is wifi 6e and a Samsung galaxy s24 ultra which had wifi 7 . The other routers which I have recognized in the same price range are asus AXE7800 wifi 6E and netgear RAXE300 wifi 6E. My current router is at this point an ancient netgear r7000 which is wifi 5 ?! My question is I guess do I really need a wifi 7 router or just get the Asus 6E ?

I would buy WiFi 7 since you are in the market. It is backward compatible.

I’m confused I updated my cox to high speed 2gbp/s and when I did a speed run I was getting 800-900mbp/s. Then I lowered my plan back to 1gbp/s, and the speed went even slower (300-450mbp/s) and cox tech that came by said my signal is perfect but realistically won’t manage to get 2gb. If that’s the case why isn’t my speed reaching 1gbp/s? I’m rocking a cm2000 and this router. Not sure what else the issue could be. I literally have my gaming pc linked up directly via cat 6 to the router. Outnitncuriousity can these routers be easily dissembled and reassembled? I have one that fried and would like to dissect it a bit

Are you thinking about WAN support or LAN support? I can't imagine a lot of home users are running 10G LANs.

@@blindlustuk for 250 you really think its gonna include 10g ports? come on now... if you wanna spend 600 and get the be800 you get dual 10g ports.. this is still a good bang for buck router for the money.. not to mention five 2.5Gb ports is more than sufficient for 99.9 percent of users.. unless your interent connection is 3gb + this router is more than good enough

There is no WiFi 6e in WiFi 7. I hope you understand what i am saying. Yes it will use 6G Channel and would be able to utilize the max bandwidth of WiFi 6e Phone. Make sense?

@@DealUnboxing I have just purchased this router model, but I did not know that it does not support WiFi 6E, and my mobile phone only supports WiFi 6E. Does this mean that I cannot use the full performance of the router and connect to the 6 gigahertz frequency, and I am only limited to the 5 gigahertz frequency? If it is only connected to the 5 gigahertz frequency, will its performance be the same as when connected to WiFi 6E?

Yes it can. But it does not have WiFi 7 Chip in it. It has WiFi 6 chip. WiFi 7 is backwards compatible.

Outside of the 5 feet away test the numbers on this thing are awful. I get better speed with 802.11ax6E. that can't be right. How about a test where the router is in a normal room of the house instead of your concrete fallout shelter?

This is our way of doing test for all our WiFi Routers. We expect it will perform better everywhere else. Also, every house construction is different.

@@markdawson25 Less Walls i guess and Interference. The House Pic is not fully showing the complete wall setup and other factors. But we compare all the routers and mesh system with the same test setup.
