Lots of people think the Lake District is impossible to park, well if you got to the tourist areas it is, but stick to the coast line and there are so many wild camping spots around on the beach. Make sure you pay a visit this summer!

"Travel with Gary and Amika"
Welcome to the Official Travel with Gary and Amika KZfaq Channel, a father daughter combo capturing campervan style travel vlogs in and around the mountains, beaches, campsites and wild camping fully off grid.
Gary is dedicated to his daughters future and enjoys documenting her passion for life, which is apparent through Amikas constant giggling and smiles. He is well travelled having visited some 39 countries, however this quickly became difficult to continue when Amika was born. With his love for travel he wasnt going to let being a single father tie him down. When Amika was just 5 they jumped on a plane and backpacked around Romania and have since visited France and Spain twice exploring the Pyrenees mountain range.
In January 2022 Gary bought on old builders van and converted into a fully off grid tiny home on wheels with the aim of getting out and about as much as possible to see more of the world. KZfaq seemed the perfect way to documented these travels and to take a step into the world of becoming a digital nomad.
Gary and Amika both thank you for being here and hope that through their videos they can bring you a sense of adventure, a lots of laughter and with a clear message that you should never grow up and never take life too seriously!

The light house or the pepper pot, as its known locally, great walk up to it. Ive been to the buddhist world peace temple too, fantastic place and they have a great cafe with home made soups, sandwiches, cakes and scones, you should visit you would both love it x

Thanks a lot, Kenny. It was a fun video to make. Yeah, the bike falls down really small, so it's perfect for smaller vans also. In fact, it takes up less space than Amikad regular bike. I'm glad you're enjoying the. Videos. On a Sunday. Yes, it would be nice to do that for a living. One day.Yes, it can get a bit frustrating with the kids, but they soon clear off, especially when I step outside. In short shorts or my parachute regiments Top they soon clear off?

My Grandma, Dorothy, lived in the cottages behind the Swan Hotel as a child in 1910.She had six sisters and had an idyllic childhood. Her Father was a steam boat captain on Windermere based at Lakeside. Thanks for this wonderful footage Gary and Amika.

Great video as always. Love the bike and it’s not badly priced either. The range is impressive. Love the lakes. It’s been a while since I was up there. Ulverston lighthouse was at the end of the Cumbrian way. An 18 mile day in heat with very little food or water and that damn lighthouse never seemed to get any nearer 😂 Nice bit of extra cash when you paint the van. Maybe a new business venture. 😊👍😊

I obviously need one of those bikes seeing as I didn’t see Amika peddling once! 😂 my idea of a bike ride!! Great video! Luckily I live near Manchester so have the lakes on my doorstep so to speak! I really don’t spend enough time going to visit so this has inspired me to! And would love to know where that carpark was cos last time I went I paid £8 for 2 hours! And got a ticket for being 10 minutes over!! (I blame the dog for sniffing everywhere! 😂) thanks for sharing ❤

The bike is honestly amazing. It's far too small for me. But Amika loves it and that was the idea. Yeah, the lakevdistrict can be a nightmare to park. The parking where you pay is at the bottom left side of Lake Windermere. At a place called Lakeside. You're welcome and I hope you enjoy the Lake District when you come.

What a fun day you had. I expect to see another bigger e-bike in the next video that will be better for you. Amika got used to riding that quickly. I have to say I was a bit nervous at first when she was in the road but out on that sand beach, she let go. Can’t wait to see where your adventure takes us this summer.

You skinflint Gary 50p pocket money for a job that Amika volunteered for £2 at least, one thing I would recommend get some high Vis items and a set of lights you can get ones that attach to clothing and back packs and helmets that flash even in daylight that show up (with a lot of idiots on the road it's best to be seen) stay safe

Awesome. Welcome and thanks for being here. I power my air fryer with a power station as I don't have an inverter in my van to do that. Power station works perfectly. This is the one use. It has a 2400w inverter so my 1300w air fryer works fine. amzn.to/3DsKUMB I also use it for my daughters hair dryer 😁
