Time for another Bushcraft Overnighter! In this weeks video I do a little Wild Camping In high winds Under a Tarp. Started a Fire using Flint and Steel and enjoyed a nice Ribeye, Spanish Rice and Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Using the New Pathfinder Titanium Cookware that will be released 10-30-2020!

Hey Pooter, my 30’s flew by. Turned 31 about two weeks after the 911 bombings, got activated and was sent to Whit Sands missile Range for a year and the next thing I know I’m in my 40’s. As always another great video brother.

It was great as always seeing your overnighter video. I am impressed with your confidence level in using you bushcraft skills as you demonstrated using flint and steel. It’s awesome 👏! Shawn has taught you well 😆 I'm so with you on having a chunk of land to camp on w/ trees and a water source. I have to drive 2-3hrs just to get to the nearest area where I can do some backcountry camping. You're very fortunate that you are able to camp on "only 80 acres" 😋

I love pine needle tea. If the color green had a flavor it would be pine needle tea. Titanium pots have limitations, but they weigh next to nothing! 80 acres is awesome! When Covid hit they closed the Nat'l Forest land in Kentucky. We have 6 acres, backs up to a big hill, creek runs through the middle of it, so I went and made myself a little campsite as far as I could get. Which isn't very far but at night with the traffic gone you can hear owls, deer off in the woods...take what I can get! Great video.

I'm just getting to catch up on channels I watch so it took me a few days to get to see this one. I'm commenting early on in the video so I'm sure it's great! You just brought up where you are camped. I think that was a great point to bring up. Too many people are caught up on the idea that you have to sink yourself deep in the woods to camp or practice skills and that's just not the honest case of it!

That was a good video there sir!! I like that little skillet.... it would be great in a light weight minimal kit. As far as cooking a full meal though lol you got to cook it in stages!!! I like the grill too. Looks like it would be great for most meats. Thanks for sharing and it was good to see you out with family on an overnighter. I wish we had tulip poplar around here like you do lol. I have lots of fatwood around here though. Keep them rolling and I hope to see you hit that 20k mark quickly!!

So the best way to clean your titanium cookware is to put it right in the fire it burns off everything leave it in for about 20 min then just wipe off and your ready to cook again plus the patina from the fire is awesome

I always look at the nature over there and enjoy the forest - so very different from the forests I go. Any mushrooms there? Your steak turnd out beautifully with your new grill. Great overnighter! I see you mention Shawn Kelly and have even picked up on a few of his tricks like the way he stacks the sticks around the fire. Ive started doing that as well. Im gonna send you something in the mail that a buddy made. He gave me 4 of them so I can part with one.

Gumbo is awesome and it would be great to take some out to camp & heat it up. Here in the UK I have been preachin the virtues of Gumbo to anyone who'll listen & try it. I followed a shotgun red youtube video, so I bake the flour in the oven for the roux.

What's the benefit/advantage of the plow point set up over a C setup using the tarp as a ground cloth, back wall & roof?

Better in winter situations, traps more heat under the tarp and holds it there longer
