I had the biggest smile on my face during that Judge Simpson call. I love watching the court have some fun when it's usually portrayed as very serious and dry. Judge Cedric Simpson is a national treasure.

So to reiterate: police served a search warrant on him, took all his devices. He then got NEW devices and planted new cameras A DAY AFTER THE WARRANT WAS EXECUTED! Thatbis a dangerous compulsion...and they never stop at just peeping

He also made the percentage on a $100,000 bond. I don't remember what they said his job was exactly, just that he worked in a mall & in hotels. I would bet real money that he's selling the videos on the internet.

As an Ann Arbor resident, I was pissed when he originally got out. I was almost surprised that they learned their lesson somewhat this time. Absolute absurd situation all around.

So, he gets out of prison, buys a bunch of cameras and hides them, gets busted, makes bail, buys a bunch of new cameras, and hides those in bathrooms before getting busted again? How does a convict have that kind of money? That's absolutely terrifying. He has zero control of himself.

I love these snippets they are a great example of the court that His Honor Judge Simpson holds. I would not ever fear the Judge but I wouldn't B.S. him ever. Glad to see the prosecutors and defense attorneys are obviously aware of this. His Honor Judge Simpson must have an excellent reputation across the spectrum. Even Mr. Johnson get a very fair shake from the Judge.

Judge Simpson is so cool and has a great sense of humor and I do believe many people speak very highly of him, including me!! It's very encouraging to see all the fantastic judges on law talk with Mike! All these judges really go above and beyond to protect citizens rights and it really makes me happy and respectful plus gives me alot of hope that there are so many compassionate, honest problem solving judges out there!!! So many judges that Mike has had on the show should be held up as examples for the rest of the countries judges to follow or use as a base line on how to run a court! There really good examples!!!

@@patscats2080 The judge obviously agrees with us. 800,000 dollar bond will keep him in prison until his trial and unless he gets a jury that's as stupid as the first OJ Simpson trial, he's TOAST. He'll get 30 years

The guy in finks case. I can’t believe he made bail. And he seriously has issues. And not a care in the world, to just to go out and buy more cameras, and continue violating victims, when he’s being investigated. Yeah, he’s a threat to his community, and CHILDREN. Keep his ass in jail.

Glad you enjoyed the cut of humor in the Honorable Judge Simpson’s court. I was laughing most of the day. Thought LTWM needs this humor for a Friday. My favorite KZfaq channel! My mom is gone now, but worked in the courts and these streams remind me of all the stories she told me growing up. No credit needed, but thank you. The smiles and laughs are all worth it. As my grandpa used to say, “If you had a good laugh today, it’s been a pretty good day.”- Alyson 🍻

I like Judge Simpson. This is brilliant to see the lighter side of courts. And the judge seems to have quite a good sense of humour. Which I'm sure helps him alot. Dealing with some of these insane cases. I'd speak highly of Judge Simpson... But I don't know him well enough. . Lol

It may be hard to comprehend unless it happens to you, how much this can affect your life. It happened to me, a single Mom with a young child. I've been so security conscience ever since. Before surveillance, I spent a lot of 💰 on security screens, the pretty ones. I always had dogs and the cheap things you place on the door so if it opens, would give off a screeching alarm. Defense weapons, absolutely. It's a terrible crime that escalates!

Often times, it's really hard to appreciate a defense Attorney. They stoop to such low levels. He played dumb to the facts. Not in every case and in many they're well needed and some well respected. Unfortunately, so many times they're slimy. Well, gotta put the kids through college, get that summer house, etc If that happened to his Family, it would be another story.

I realize it was a figure of speech but I don't want to imagine the discovery. Saw the previous hearing on Old Squishy Gardeners channel and unless I'm mistaken some of the alleged victims being filmed were children.

Yes, there were children, which the prosecutor said they couldn't identify as victims because they were just members of the public using the restrooms. It sounded like the victims they identified were employees of the businesses, and it also seemed like the defendant may have worked at some of these places.

what struck me about the voyeur is how "classic" this crime was. he wasn't like, broadcasting the footage back home or something, he was physically collecting the cameras after leaving them places as if the risk of being caught is part of the game.

I remember this case now. This guy is sick. I am retired law enforcement and I remember about 30 years ago we had a couple guys putting cameras in a Sears department store bathrooms and cameras were much bigger back then so they were easy to catch. Sears also had a problem with gentlemen meeting up in the bathrooms for intimate encounters, we called them Bathroom Inspectors over the radio.

Department store bathrooms have always been a hookup spot since the 70s. Many were/are listed in the Damron Guide. They even note the risk level of each.

I've seen them taking a shower, undressed or inappropriately, smoking etc. Few and far between appreciate the convenience but most take advantage of it and treat it with total disrespect. I love all three Judges, Simpson, Lall, and Boyd. I also love Magistrate Fink. At a certain point the community needs more protection if this guy continues behavior which he cannot stop. There’s a lot of money on the internet selling these photos. He’s going to be able to make bonds. He’s not going to stop. At a certain point the community needs more defending than a ack person who cannot stop criminal behavior that harms others. Lots of others.

The Restroom Videographer arraignment from Sept. 6 was the most cringe-y thing I've seen outside some of the serial-killer videos I also regularly watch. 🤮

I'm trying to figure out how he did this without most people seeing the cameras. I've seen tiny cameras on Amazon that look like USB phone chargers, but you need to plug them into the wall. Amazon (or maybe it's Google) sells its own brand of cameras that run on batteries and are meant for outside use, but they're much bigger and would be instantly noticeable in a restroom stall. If he used the phone-charger ones, as mentioned at the arraignment, how did he power them? I've never seen AC outlets in restroom stalls! Maybe he only cares about men's restrooms and aims them toward urinals without privacy dividers. Or did he somehow install them in restroom ceilings? Ugh - I've thought about this too much! 🤮
