In the spirit of the great outdoors, David and I prepared a dinner of 100% wild-gathered food that night. The feast would include our two brook trout, and we would add a lemon flavoring using the wood sorrel we had discovered earlier in the day. David had also gathered a Bear's head tooth mushroom on the portage into camp that we fried up in salt, pepper, and butter. It would all get accompanied by a pot of wild rice I had harvested during a previous WeatherWool production with Caleb Musgrave. We could have stopped there, but we had been noticing crayfish in the water, so with quick hands, we grabbed a few by the back, tossed them in a kettle and boiled them for an appetizer. ... to read the full article, check out our website.

I love everything about this video. First the setting... then David's knowledge and his ability to convey it in an interesting way... then the filming, editing, music, were all top notch. Kudos.

The Lake Clear property is a seasonal spot for now. Lots of construction still needed before living there full time. You'll have to visit next paddling season. Kudos again on the video... you are very well spoken and I enjoy taking in your knowledge.@@NatureIntoAction

This was incredible David! You took me back to that wonderful place for 15 minutes but now I wish I was sitting in that leanto again; but on a fishing trip this time!!! LOL! Those fish and that meal was incredible!! You are an amazing wealth of knowledge!! Like you said, it takes being with someone with that knowledge and learning one thing at a time. GREAT VIDEO! Jeff

I have been keeping an eye out for the restock of your jackets and i have to say.. in 4 months basically nothing has changed in terms of inventory. There is no point in being awesome if it's impossible to buy any of the products.

We have a 12-18 month production timeline. We are doing what we can to go faster but we won't compromise the product to do so. If you don't place a pre-order you may not be notified of availability. We have shipped many garments since November. Best Regards -- Ralph

@@WeatherWoolA small 2 months later, again, amazing brand, amazing fabric, incredible unreliable production. For example, i've had a neckgaiter on backorder for like half a year, zero updates about the North Maine coat in about 6 months.

@@dimi7055 Thanks for the kind words regarding the company and Fabric. Nobody is more eager for production than we are. BUT we won't compromise the product to get something out the door. We have shipped a great many products in the last 6 months or year. Just not the ones you are waiting for. We have Production Status and In Stock Now pages on the website that are kept current. All the Best -- Ralph

@@WeatherWool No hard feelings, you are a great person! But in the clothing world it's all about having stock. 70% of people impulse buy clothing when the weather changes, after 6 months when it's summer again the last thing on their mind is a jacket. I hope you get the production up to date one day!
