This week we celebrate where we've been and how far we've come with a family trip and an epic Christmas surprise for a family member. Every year, for the past 4 years, we have filmed a very special WWOG Christmas- here's our 2022 version!

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.

I've only gone snow skiing once, but one of the best decisions I've ever made was to take a 1/2 day skiing lesson FIRST. I picked up enough skill in that short lesson to have a terrific rest of the day skiing, without falling....well, maybe ONCE.

This seems like it was everything a Christmas should or even could be! Vacation excursions, winter play, skiing and skating, hot coffee, gift exchanging, holiday cheer, and long snowy drives ending in family reunion surprises. Somehow you also had time to film it all, and showcase it here for all of your KZfaq family...it's mind boggling how you keep this pace up even in leisure days.

We did the same thing when our kids were about the same age as your youngest. We even surprised them on Christmas morning after opening gifts. We said "pack your bags, we're going to CA" We drove 16 hrs from Colorado to California. It was so great to see nana's reaction. Way to go!

For the first episode I watched, before the forms for the foundation went in, I watched because the thumbnail of Erin was pleasing to the eye. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that y'all actually had content. I've since come to admire all 5 of you and to marvel at the constantly improving skill in farming, storytelling, building, and videography that y'all continue to display. I pray that 2023 will continue to see the family blessed and growing stronger.

There's nothing better than spending time with the people that you love during the holidays. I've been doing blankets and pajamas for several years with my kids now. I get them other things as well but they look forward to the pajamas and blankets. I guess it's sort of a tradition of ours as well. Wishing all of y'all nothing but the best.
