Wildcamping in the Lake District, Ling fell in the Tarptent Scarp 1.

With feeling a little unwell I decide on Ling fell for a wildcamp, Paul and I take the slightly steeper direct route up, but it was still.a short easy walk to the summit of this lovely little wainwright. We sat out for ages having a good catch up and a few beers with our food. Views of Sale fell, the sea and the west coast were lovely, and the camp felt very cosy. Strong winds came in overnight, but the 2 Scarp 1's stood like rocks, we were up early, and it only took us 15 minutes to descend in the morning. Ey up mate, lovely little fell with great views of the sea & over to Scotland! Could tell you wasn’t too well in this one, so fair play to still getting out buddy! You find all the best spots brother 👌🏼 Looks quite flat up there, any amount of pitches. You're right, you can't beat camping with your mates, we're overdue one! Agreed buddy, winter hammock camps with a red hot fire 100% 👌🏼🔥 Hopefully catch you soon my man, take it easy ATB Daz 😁👍🏼🏕🦆

My daughter started on an Adventure Film Making degree course in Wales this week so maybe she'll be making her own videos soon? ...... done the flood plain camp so overgrown here in carlisle cos of the gas works i have back problems would you say hammock camping is a no no

Yeah I believe it is all overgrown mate, I have back issues too pal, and I sleep better in my hammock than my bed, and my back is brilliant for about 4 days afterwards, so quite the opposite I would highly recommend it, atb Paul 🙏 🏕 🏕🏕😁
