Ай бұрынWildcamping the Old man of Coniston has been on my to do list for years, with the good weather finally arriving I decided to go for it, and I wasn't disappointed. A steady start to the walk soon turned into a steep and sweaty one with the heat. But the views were well worth it, the tarn was stunning, and finding the aircon tunnel was simply amazing. On reaching the summit there were a few pitches, but I decided to wander over to Brim fell to tag the 2nd Wainwright of the day, and there was loads of flat pitches there, so I decided to camp there for the night, the views were simply amazing, the Isle of Man was clearly visible, absolutely unreal, and one of my best camps. here's the links for the Aerogogo mega pump 4 if you are interested......

It certainly performed very well, although it was sent to me for free, these are my honest opinions, if it was 5hite I would absolutely say so 👍
The Atom packs EP40+ rucksack has changed my lightweight camping pack forever, it comes highly recommend 👌

Cheers brother ❤️ it's a cracking mountain, and I loved every second of it 👌 the pump is a little belter too 😁 that track is one of my favourites for drone footage 😀 as much as I loved the pussycat tent, especially the build quality, I cave come ro the conclusion that trekking pole tents aren't for me, and it's gone to a new owner to enjoy, watch this space for a new ultralight tent 😀 catch you soon brother sister auntie uncle camel goldfish 🐠 🙏🏕🏕🏕❤️

A very well earned camp that Paul. It's a slog up that route! Brim fell is a handy little bugger and it's just out of the way of the masses over on the old man which is good 😊 Dropping a few kgs from your pack will make the world of difference mate. Light and fast will make for a much more enjoyable trip 😊 Take care, Adge

Cheers Adge, it was a good workout going up, but well worth it for the views, Brim fell had loads more pitches than the Old man, and I never saw a soul after I pitched the tent 👌👌👌 loving the new rucksack and lightweight setup for sure, but have finally decided that 1 person trekking pole tents aren't for me, I'm just too big, so got my eye on a new lightweight tent weighing 715g hoping to get the pack weight below 6kg for Hadrians wall this year 😀 thanks for watching mate, it's really appreciated, atb Paul 🙏 🏕🏕🏕❤️
