Wildcamping in the Lake District. Nab Scar via Grey Crag and Alcock Tarn.

In this video Daz from ‎@Bewley Brothers Wild Camping and I park up near Rydal water, and quickly find ourselves walking the fells of the Lake District, our first destination of the day was Grey crag, a small wainwright with some lovely views, followed quickly by Alcock tarn, although quite small, it is very picturesque, then on to our second Wainwright of the day, Nab scar, which offered great views over Ambleside and Windermere, and also a peek into the langdales and on to Coniston. At the top we decided to drop down a little bit to get some cover from the wind, we found a cracking pitch, and the tents were soon up, and we enjoyed a few beers, good food and some great laughs. Amazing autumn colours. As always mate the photos are spectacular, definitely need to do a calendar. Brilliant spot and Daz definitely got the best spot. Top gentleman giving daz a real turmat meal. ATB Dan 👍 👍 👍 👍

Nab scar, you little beauty! Stunning scenery in the Lake District, my favourite place in the world man! What a place. What a pitch! Good to see Daz on the real turmat! I need to have a go on my next camp, 100%! Them lights from Ambleside looked amazing mate! The clag in the morning was lovely too 😂 all about the views yessiii! Another belter marra. Great views. Those fighter jets certainly know how to creep up on you. Was on Longlands Fell a few weeks ago and one came out of nowhere. I nearly fell over. S**t mysel, it was that close. Keep em coming.👍👍👍👍👍

Have you tried using the NL2 without trekking poles? I've tried a couple of times with mine but it's an ugly mishapen thing and a bit flimsy, I wouldn't trust it in any kind of wind. With the poles though it's pretty robust
