I love being out there...but I always bring the Roscoe with me. Im a decent, kind, caring person but you never know who else is out there. Thanks for another great vid! Food for thought: I use a cheap Walmart travel pillow. It is light and I just throw it at the bottom of the pack so that everything on top just squishes it down, so it doesn't take up tooooooo much room. And it makes for a pretty comfy night (disclaimer: I mostly hammock camp as of late, but I'm sure it would make a good ground pillow too; however, it isn't weatherproof). Just my 2 cents.....Happy camping!

Great video. They just keep getting better. I spent last night in a nice cabin in Cameron County PA. Saw 2 rattlesnakes and a bunch of deer. The locals say they have been seeing more rattlers than ever this year. Drove around on some forest roads up there in my truck this morning before coming back. It rained last night so I had to make my campfire this morning. I love it up in Elk , Cameron , and Potter counties. You just have to watch where you step. I'd never sleep on the ground up there. I'm all warm and cozy now after 2 shots of Monkey Shoulder.

PS.....That Tyvek was a good investment Sammy.....it will serve you well! 20 yrs ago before I Started driving truck, I spent 17 yrs working in a factory where we made industrial class bags of all sorts, and we made some for a few customers made out of Tyvek. The material is super tough and sustainable I can promise you that! 😉

Dude yes! I believe it, it's held up great so far. If you remember the raining trip where I bailed, a root poked a hole in my air mattress. Lots of people in the comments told me to get a tyvek ground sheet and it's been a great investment.

I’m not sure there is such a thing as too many onions. For that matter, the same goes for garlic, cheese, and bacon. The summer bag with the screen is a great idea. Around here we have a spider about every square foot, along with many other stinging and biting crawlers. I love that spot, or plot as Kevin would call it. Looking forward to some cooler temps so I can get out. Take care.

Hi Joe! Yeah we've got the same up here. Usually with a tent this isn't necessary, but I really tarp camping.

@@CampingwithSamBananas Tarp camping is the lightest way to go. Many distance hikers use a small tarp, pad, and a sleeping bag. But you cannot mind sharing your bed with critters. I can’t sleep at the thought of one making my ear it’s home.

Haha glad you like it Dale! It's not that expensive of a hat either. It has a wire in the brim so you can bend it. The knife is like $75 bucks or so, but it's an item that's actually worth it. It's tough as hell.

Caw caw says the crow... One of my favorite camping meals is modded baked beans. I fry up chopped bacon, then add diced up sweet onions and cook till caramelized, then I add a can of maple flavored bushes baked beans! It always blows my mind how good it is! Great video yer food looked great too! I woulda put bacon in it tho hahaha I'll put bacon in everything tho hahaha

Hey Hey Sam! Another great video sir! I appreciate you taking us out with you on your overnight adventure. I really enjoyed the camp and fire set up. I think some of creators skip through that part, maybe thinking it is boring or eats up too much time but you did a great job showing almost everything from clearing the site, the knots you use for your guy/ridge lines and how you like to set things up in general. Site looks so much different than when you were last there. Arby sauce on your skillet meal was a nice touch, love that stuff! 👍Looking forward to the next one. Cheers!

Yeppers. This is how we do it! I still think you should give a hammock a try though. Maybe not on a fall/winter camp out because that's a whole different set up. But yeah, get off the ground.

whts up bratha !! man another cool vid and the potatos looked on point yummy......and yes the tyvek is very usefull i used it as ground sheets for all my tents and for haveing somthing on the gound to keep stuff out of the dirt

Greatly enjoyed this campout. I've never had any luck with inflatables and just quit. I have a Coleman camp pillow that is super comfy, not too big and have kept it for years. I'm kinda hung up on Arby's Horsey Sauce but will try the Arby's sauce you used. Dinner looked great! The only thing I would do different would be to put the beer in the water first. LOL! Love your channel.

Ken much appreciated my man! I'm in a valley in a hunting preserve. Been camping this general location for years. I've never seen it flood, but you never know.
