Wildfire Fighting Helicopters

Here's a little bit of helicopter wildfire action seen around Nelson a few years ago.
The video features:
Wildcat Helicopters Bell 412 C-FWTQ with Fire Attack System
Elbow River Helicopters Bell 407 C-GXXH with a Bambi bucket
Wildcat Helicopters Bell 212 C-FOHK with Fire Attack System
Ascent Helicopters Bell 212 C-GWWL with a belly water tank
These helicopters were fighting a forest fire a few kilometres outside of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. Love seeing the impressive Bell 412SP and Bell 212 medium helicopters in action.

It's very sad to see the woods burn... :( But it's a great footage of the different helicopter types! I love the sound of the Bell 212! She sounds like a military huey! ^_^ In germany the huey is called "Teppichklopfer" (carpet knocker?) :D Thumbs up mate ;)

I love the sound of the 212 as well. Love the Huey, we have a 205 based at CZNL and nothing beats that sound! Love the nickname "Teppichklopfer".
