It's great watching these homesteading and off grid living videos. I'm still in the saving and land hunting part of the process but stuff like this keeps me motivated. I have reduced my budget down to its core requirements including having learned how to make pastas, bread, flatbreads etc. from scratch. I have also continued to expand on my own space in growing as many herbs and vegetables as possible for now. Next on my list is covering my guilty pleasures by learning a lot more about beer brewing and cheese making. With just these changes alone it has been pretty amazing how fast my bank account balances have grown. Can't wait to see more and you guys get the immediate click whenever a new video shows up in my feed!

On a Tesla car they recommend you only charge the batteries to 90% for daily driving and 100% for road trips. Might want to look into where you should keep your charge for the longevity of your batteries. Amazing job you two!

For someone like myself who doesn't know ANYTHING about electricity wiring, we have to take into account "IF HIRING" someone to do all of the hookups and connections, the cost of LABOR. As you said it is a no brainier going to solar is the way to go given how much it would have cost you to get the power company to give you power that you still have to pay for the power every month. Being as self reliance as you can be is just a great feeling and the now if the grid goes down you will be ok. I really love your channel and look forward to seeing you now finish off the house.
