I feel bad for Kayla, there putting loads of blame on her when Kayden is working her up and he gets of for free. Like there like "Kayden will only be on calm down while Kayla is on time out". There acting like she's a crimanal and when Kayden mishbehaves there like "Awwww he's so cute, i'm sure he'll behave soon" but if she did the same thing it's straight to time out. James you have restored my faith in todays young people (I am 80). You approached most of the kid situations with both intelligence and humour. I raised my kids with love and discipline and I proud of the men they are today. I was horrified with what they let some of those little monsters do, and the ineffective way some parents raise their kids. No wonder the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

The craziest thing about Supernanny is that 9/10 times, the parents are like "Not only do I have zero parenting skills, I also can't cook, clean, organize, communicate properly, or be responsible for literally anything :)". Meanwhile, they have 3-6 kids and one of them is shoving a fork in an electrical outlet in the background. Like, why tf do you have any children-- yet alone multiple-- when you can't even take care of yourself?? I always wonder if these families know that condoms and birth control exist lmao.

When I was little my mum used to say “If you do that again I’ll call super-nanny” worked every time.

i remember being in rimeout as a kid. basically, it pulls you away from what you want and angers you or upsests you. the goal is for you as the kid to say hey, i dont like this, i would be doing what i like if i hadnt done that thing. although my timeouts were normally because i would not be quiet at night and annoy my sibling. unlike these young ones i actually stayed put. btw, kaiden's intro where he just spit had me luaghing for some reason.

probably not the best place to talk about this, but it's shows like this that genuinely upset me. some of these kids need genuine psychological and psychiatric testing and the parents could benefit from skills of learning how to deal with neurodivergent kids. i don't want to make any assumptions, but i see a lot of myself in these children. i was a child from hell. my mom had a hard time dealing with me, my dad was hardly ever home, and i acted like this when was a lot younger. my dad never wanted to admit there was anything wrong with his child, and now, eighteen years later, i've been diagnosed with autism and adhd. defiance is usually because a child's needs aren't getting met, especially if they are not neurotypical. why would you choose to exploit your kids who need help like this instead of taking them to a doctor to get tested? it would make a world of a difference.

"What's a bank teller?" It's what they call the people behind the counter in banks in the US. It's also the T in ATM - auto teller machine. The equivalent in the UK would have been bank clerk, but that's fallen out of use and now they're just counter staff.
