N M M Why would he lead us there? He isn’t tempted nor does he tempt. Then he turns right around and instructs us to pray that he not lead us there. Even if it’s not he who’s doing the tempting, he is guilty by proxy. That’s a contradiction.

+Mr C..I read your comment before mine. I am still chuckling. "God and Satan take it out back." I loved it. Anyway..I do not know. Jesus said.."lead us not into temptation." I have wondered about that myself. But this is my experience. I was born into a cult and had to Fight my way out. Jesus Saved me from it after a long hard battle..but I suspect it was from my weakness to people Please. So I don't know whether I could blame God or not? I remember God prompting me not to go to the church and not to marry the man I did..because it took me deeper..but the man was cute! So I don't think I can blame God for that one!

Mr. C “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

+Conner M.. Jesus Said.."Our Father in Heaven..Lead us Not into temptation.". I don't know? Who are you going to believe? Jesus or Paul or James? There doesn't seem to much of an agreement in the bible!

@kathleen Wharton: ALL The Bible is in agreement, in this case, it's all about the context and (sometimes) the original translation from the Hebrew, Greek or Latin, specially the Greek, many words have different meanings and each, if studied "in context" will provide the exact meaning (as I've discovered with my Pastor and many others online), hence, we MUST believe our Lord Jesus Christ, Paul , James and whoever had the blessing and inspiration from The Holy Spirit to write the words of Almighty God.

Believe. If you truly believe you will not be tempted beyond what you can bear, you won’t. You have Christ in you, fully manifested to those who choose to accept this and believe. When the enemy attacks, and he will attack, we must attack back. We must confess Christ with our mouths, and proclaim he is Lord. Jesus took our sin and our shame and he nailed it to himself at the cross. His Father, the master carpenter nailed him to the cross so we could have his power over the evil one. Jesus defeated Satan that day. Satan is self. Sin no longer has reign in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. We must deny ourselves daily and take up our cross. Not daily, hourly, minute by minute. Memorize scripture and quote it. Memorize the Word. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word is truth. Speak truth. Believe truth. Confidently believe it. Words are powerful, but we have the most powerful Word in us. Speak it!!! Truly, truly whoever believes in me will also believe in the works that I do and greater works than these will be do. Whatever you ask in my name I will do so the father will be glorified in the Son. If you love me you will keep my commandments. You will not sin if you keep my commandments. You have Christ in you so it is possible for you to keep all of the commandments. Christ is far more powerful than the enemy, than self. The hour is coming when I will no longer talk in figures of speech. The time is now! Death is defeated. The King is alive. He is here on earth, NOW! Repent and be baptized. Then call upon the name of the LORD and you will be saved. You will become perfect and complete lacking in nothing. Jacksonville is the New Jerusalem

Justin Williams How would anyone know that they have kept the commandments? The beatitudes? The love chapter? Do you obey the royal law?....love your neighbor as yourself? How do you know? Are you patient, kind, don’t keep records of wrong, etc etc? You’re right! You don’t know, nor can you. The temptation to doubt is more than anyone can bear. I’m willing to bet that you don’t believe in perfection....a biblical requirement.

Hah the 1st one got me thinkin... "be baptized" that wont save you nor anybody... the people need REPENTANCE AND FAITH/TRUST.. we all do for the rest of our lives ! #You will become perfect lalalala.... WHAT???? COME AGAIN?? Ahh man... " *IF YOU* have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you " DO U HAVE IT ??? TELL THE CORONAVIRUS TO GO AWAY and let us see. =]] # You will not sin if you keep my commandments... U KIDDIN ME !?? JESUS IS TELLING US, IF WE LOVE HIM AS IT SHOULD BE... WILL HAVE NO LONGER DESIRE TO SIN... NO MAN IS HOLY, NO MAN IS GOOD, NO MAN IS RIGHTOUS etc... ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS. *Every day we are falling in something.* WE NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT IN US. U CAN SPEAK THE WORD NON-STOP, WITHOUT FAITH U ARE NOBODY ! HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE GOD AND ONLY HIM. #Sin no longer has reign in our lives .... REALLY? U SURE? Sin will always be there for u... waiting and giving u some other stuff so u can betray GOD again etc.. the BATTLE WILL END ONE DAY.. is not gonna be forever but we have to be prepared and awake with help of HOLY SPIRIT. SOLUTION - PRAY AND FAST, WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST NON-STOP WITH TRUST AND LOVE. WE ALL STRUGLLE WITH SOMETHING. AND FOR THE TEMPTETIONS/TRIALS GOTTA ASK JOB ABOUT THAT.. WILL NOT BE TEMPTED BEYOND tralala etc.... THERE IS A CONTEXT, AN INTERPRETATION. REVIEW IT !!!!

Dear brothers and sisters i greet you in our Lord Jesus Christ Three years ago, I began to engage in faith. I started here in Croatia in the catholic church to visit mass and to read The Holy Scriptures. Very early on, I noticed that what is taught and practiced in the catholic church contradicts the Holy Scriptures and what Jesus taught us. In addition, some things in the Holy Bible were unclear to me and raised additional questions and doubts, such as: - If our God is the God of love and justice, why are we punished for the sins of Adam? Doesn't that contradict the principles of love and justice? An earthly father who is full of faults and weaknesses would not do such a thing, then how can we think such a thing about our Perfect Father? - How can a loving father throw his child forever in the hell? That also contradicts these principles. And besides, in 1 Timothy 2; 3 + 4: "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." So, if this were really so, that in spite of His will, people will be brought forever to hell and not saved, this would mean that He can not enforce His will and thus He is not the omnipotent God, if we follow these doctrines believe. - Why does it say in some passages that Jesus is the Son of God, in others the Son of Man and in others that He and God are one? Although I kept going to the Catholic Mass, at home I no longer practiced the prayers of the catholic church, but started talking like a child to my Father (Matthew 6: 7 + 8 ). After a short while, I got the answer to everything. He guided me through a friend of my mother to the revelations of Bertha Dudde. Now I know that the Bible does not contradict itself. God can not contradict himself. The truth is not in the word, in the letter, but in the understanding, in the interpretation of it. Now I know that Jesus is God and our Father in heaven, and I understand all the processes and contexts, and through this I have come to know that He is the perfect Love and not the strict, punitive God. As he promised us in John 14; 21: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. " 16; 12 + 13: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. " 16; 25: "These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. " In the revelations of Bertha Dudde, His promise was fulfilled, just as every other of His promises was and will be fulfilled, for He never quits (Titus 1: 2) because His word is truth (John 17; 17) and all that will happen is what He said has (Hebrews 10; 23, Ezekiel 12; 25:28, etc.) My loved brothers and sisters, I ask you not to blindly believe me, but as written in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 19-21: " Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. " Before you begin to look, go into prayer and ask our Father Jesus Christ for enlightenment to put you in your heart, whether that's really His word or not. Do not read with your mind or knowledge, but with your heart, for knowledge (knowledge, understanding) puffeth up, love (heart) edifieth (1 Corinthians 8: 1), for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life (2 Corinthians 3: 6). kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iKx7Zc6Ym7fXYIE.html My dear brothers and sisters, the situation in Christianity is alarming, frightening and very sad and for that very reason the end is near, the time is up. Only in a very small part are the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5; 22) recognizable, and thus only a very few truly belong to Christ, for only those who enjoy the fruits and grow in them are of his (Romans 8: 9). "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…" Hosea 4; 6 I wish you a blessed day my beloved brothers and sisters, May the Love of our Lord Jesus Christ shine through your heart and lead you into the truth.

Remove every prideful area in your life. When pride rises - know that destruction is near. Pride destroys destiny. Pride is the forerunner to destruction. When you see pride functioning in the life of others know that destruction and deterioration is near. Pride does not value wisdom. Proverbs‬ ‭11:14‬ states, “Where no wise guidance is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Pride doesn’t value guidance or wise counsel

@@joehouston2833 are you saying those who are in Christ could be prideful? Pride is part of the old! Which Christ has done away with! And behold everything is NEW...also is no man put old wine in new bottles..what makes anyone think God will put His Holy Spirit in a old heart sinful prideful???? 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Romans 6:6 KJV - Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Luke 5:37 KJV - And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. Mark 2:21 KJV - No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse. Luke 5:36 KJV - And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. Mark 2:22 KJV - And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

Xpert Killa Not the water kind. True baptism is the spiritual realization that you are not condemned. Accusation is the ultimate lie from the enemy. Love with all that you are, especially when weakness is realized. That is true baptism. If you want to get wet later then so be it. Just remember...Water baptism is not a means to an end....love IS!

To be saved you need to believe, repent and not look back at who you were prior to believing in faith. Baptism by water is about obedience; an action that will draw you closer to HIM. I was a slow learner in that. It took me 3 years after I was saved; not thinking it necessary for salvation, and it is not. The rubber met the road when asked why I, a child of the King, would not obey HIS command to be baptized? I had no answer and was baptized shortly thereafter.
@vanpatrick
@vanpatrick 4 жыл бұрын
Xpert Killa dont listen to Mr. C. His answer is not biblical. Nor his other comments in this video. No, baptism is not necessary for salvation. We are saved by grace through faith alone. Not of works. But since it is being commanded for us to do (like being a member of a local church), we must do it. Water baptism also symbolizes our being born again. We died to sin and and are made alive by the Holy Spirit, and is our public proclamation that Jesus is our master and Savior.

Interesting that Dr. Piper moves away from the immediate context (10:12) so quickly. The example of the unfaithful Israelites who "fell" in the wilderness and did not enter the promised land is the immediate context for 10:13. The Admonition of v. 12 is plain: "Therefore, let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall."

Mr. C , do you see any difference between tempting someone and leading them into temptation? It’s possible we might be led by God (or led in other ways) into situations where we’ll be tempted. Maybe I’m talking with a friend and they share something very personal about themselves. I might be tempted to betray their trust and tell other people. But that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t have had that conversation with my friend. We shouldn’t ty to live in a way that avoids all temptation, otherwise it will lead to us avoiding all kinds of situations and people. What we’re called to do is follow God where he leads us. We can’t control whether/how we’re tempted, but we can pray that God will not lead us into places where we are tempted. And we can trust in the passage above, that when we are tempted, God is still faithful. He will not let us be tested beyond our ability, but it will be possible in his strength to endure it.
@mr.c2485

Matthew Fearnley Obviously, avoidance isn’t an option....but it seems to me that the free will that’s been forced on us is an unnecessary risk. Forced free will is not free will. Given the choice..I would opt out....too risky. And don’t give me that “ god is sovereign “ crap. It doesn’t matter. Forcing us to make decisions based on forced free will makes him guilty of some sort of codependency on us. If he’s got a beef with Satan then the two of them need to take it out back. Don’t use us as pawns in their game of good and evil. That’s a sadistic lovers game.
