Capture all thought to take it captive and bring it into submission so that compassion and forgiveness can be yours. Sexual desire is a God given gift. Calling it sin is a fools game. Attempting to stop or ignore it is a fruitless endeavor.

the lost adventurer u got this dude. Same here. But after reading god’s word and finally understanding what it means to truly love Him, we will follow his commandments. This world teaches and normalizes lust. It actually pushes the agenda really. Do u not see magazines? Do u not see snapchat covers? Do u not hear the songs on the radio? The people who are in charge of all of this know what they are doing. They want us to feed into lust. THEY purposely want us to feel like we cant escape our sins in order to lead all souls to hell. Even if its purpose, or accident- its evident that evil is slowly taking over this world If we were really still faithful to god. If the world was still really into god- all this porn stuff would be banned. Yet whenever we watch stuff like it and do bad things with it, we add onto this world’s agenda. We give into it. We support it. Imagine a child coming across something like what lust desires on the internet. Its disgusting. It ruins our souls and deteriorates our mind. IT LITERALLY is a drug. How p0rn affects ur brain is literally a drug because of how dopamine is released. U should look it up. But good news: jesus has died for us. Jesus is like a physical gift from God that shows us we can be saved. And that we are saved. ONLY THROUGH HIM. Are we able to do things. Only through him, are we nourished. Only by relying on HIS. Strength and not ours is how we truly get over addiction and lust. U cant do this on ur own. But he’s always here for us. He’s always been here. You have to HATE. Sin. U have to hate ur lust in order to fully get rid of it. You’ll never be able to get rid of temptation and the devil telling u to go back to ur old sinful ways. But what u can get rid of is GIVING INTO IT. Jesus says ◄ Galatians 5:16 ► So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. This whole thing is a battle between flesh and spirit. When YOU. Are tempted. Imagine ur going face to face with a demon. Because thats how it is. USE. Ur. SWORD. Ur a lost adventurer anyway right? (Lol) USE. Ur sword. UR SWORD. Is god’s word. JESUS SAYS to be watchful, ur enemy/devil is like a lion waiting to devour its prey. SLAY THAT LION AND DECAPITATE IT. U have the power to get over lust. U just need to rely on HIS strength and not ur own. We got this. He says the beginning was the word and that he IS the word. In the verse, he says to WALK by the spirit. whenever we stop abiding in him, we are running away from the spirit. U can HAVE the spirit in you (which is why u feel guilty. the holy spirit is kind to us and knows, shows us how to feel). BUT even if u HAVE the spirit, u cant let the holy spirit fully reach its full potential if u dont abide in it. When we lust, it slowly dies and is taken control over evil spirits. Reading the bible has helped me. I would read it all the time but i wouldnt understand lol. Didnt realize that there are diff versions of bible and diff translations. I read the NLT version which is soooo much easier. U got this. Were praying for u. We r rooting for u, lost adventurer. Jesus is rooting for u. And has always been. Dont give into this worlds ideals and agenda. Dont give into the devils agenda- before its too late. U got this

Richard Bennett hello Richard, perhaps you need to alter your prayer points, making them more particular and focused. For example instead of praying to not get angry, pray that God will fill you with the tho Holy Spirit to guide and direct you. It is the Holy Spirit that pushes you to be more Christ like. The holy spirit will show reveal to you and convict your angry thoughts. It will encourage you to approach anger provoking situation in a Godly manner Hope this helped, give me an update if you try this!

@@Fisayo_Jay my friend from church pointed me to the book of James. Currently reading it. I also will try asking God to fill me with the holy spirit for direction. I feel very convicted about my pride. I think that's the root of all my anger

If you are in your word everyday & listen to praise & worship, it helps, God hears our prayers, but he can't take it all away without us doing the foot work & putting him first in our lives, allowing God to be in the center of everything. I am not perfect there are areas in my life I fail him for how I respond to my disobedient kids, if this helps I need to remember that God has bless me with my kids, his kids, to raise them in his image, to teach them who God is, so when I don't respond the way I should, how am I teaching them that God is love? Or that I love God, to have a relationship with God & to truly be obeident to him first is what I need to do. In order for me to teach my kids, I have to set the example. However when we put God first & allow our relationship with him be one of corrections & love, I can see my flaws & work on them. I fall when I fail to do those things. Our relationship with him determine our out come. Continue to put him first & have the whole family put him first. Practice prayers with the family. Remember your wife is your help mate, she is the one you pray with in order to fight battles with. We all fall, don't beat yourself over it. Just pick yourself up Repent & keep pressing forward to do better the next time. God bless

+Splagchnizomai..you are not to the end of the story yet. God Comes to Job and Corrects him Big Time..for listening to fools..instead of HIM. I got corrected too..just as Job did. I no longer listen to Men. That are all Fools! I listen Only to God..just as He asked people through out the bible. Solomon was a disobedient man who God was very unhappy with. And when you take the council of Fools..You are Sure to Fall. You do not understand this story at all. But since you like listening to a clown..I hope you like falling with him. +Splagchnizomai..Job did Wrong and was like any fool..He tried to maintain his own righteousness. And his Friends were Wrong too. God Corrected Them All. God Gave HIS Commandments to Be Obeyed. The OT people made up their own commandments..obeyed them and ignored Gods commandments..exactly as people Do ToDay.

+Splagchnizomai..you are right in that Job did not seek his friends. Jobs friends came on their own..as friends will do. But they were ALL Wrong and God Corrected Job..because he was wrong too..and Not as righteous as he thought he was.

Jesus Said in Matthew 5 6 7.."Obey My Sayings and Seek Me and My Righteousness..I will Give You Everything You Need and Deliver you from evil." Job learned the same thing. God is Our provider and He Is Sufficient! That is what I have found Too. Everybody's opinions in the bible are just confusing..and the fact that there are so many churches and people who think they are Right proves it. Jesus is Right and He is All I Need.

Hello love!, The Bible has taught me that God allows us to experience pain and difficulty to drawn us closer to him. It is in the midst of suffering our desire to experience Gods comfort, favour and love is amplified. God is in fact in control of Satan. It’s difficult to take bcos we don’t want to believe that God would allow satan to cause all this pain, but it is the very thing that makes him God! To deny Gods ability to allow evil is to deny the power and nature of his Godness, that which is mighty and above all! He created the seas, the clouds, so there is no doubt in my mind a God capable of such beauty can create equally potent disaster

Splagchnizomai i think he doesnt mean the actual word “fool” that we define in our world today. when we define fool in today’s modern culture we think of- “Omgosh THEYRE A FOOL THEYRE DUMB!!! THEYRE SO STUPID” I guess we just have to keep in mind the text the bible is written in is rly old- the video explains what they meant by “foolish” back then. Also even if Jesus does- he doesnt mean it in a condescending manner !!! if he meant it in a condescending manner he would literally be evil and unmerciful.
