Today we’re going to be covering a few ways you can work out whether long hair is even going to suit you as a male.
It’s a good question and is probably worth investigating before you decide to go commit to the entire hair growth process right?

The first way to figure out whether long hair is going to suit you is to look into what kind of face shape you have and what kind of cut/style you’ll need in order to make long hair work for you. The good news is most face shapes work with long hair so if you figure out yours beforehand and what you need to do, you’ll have a better chance of making it work in the end.

The second method you can use for seeing whether or not long hair is going to be your jam or not is to try an app like faceapp. (Not sponsored)
Even though this app caused a bit of drama in our Facebook community, it’s still a great tool for predicting what you’re going to look like with long hair and I even did a little demo for you in this video to show you what I mean.
I actually even think I look a little better in real life compared to what face app said but even still, the result it generated was really similar and I think it’s a great tool.
So those two things are great ways to get an accurate prediction on whether long hair will even suit you or not. If you try any of these methods out please don’t be afraid to let me know how you found either of these methods and I look forward to seeing you in my next video.

I've been having long hair for a decade. I'm only 24, but I went through a emo phase as a start in middle school. Gradually in my junior year I changed the style as it got longer. I ended up getting a short fade in 2019 accidentally. Eversince 2019 I've been regrowing it. It's now 2022 its nearly passing my chest. Although longer hair does requires alot of maintenance it's worth. I plan on trimming it short to my shoulders soon to regrow healthier new hair. I wish you guys luck on your journey. P.s the awkward phase is only temporary.

Been growing my hair out for 16 months and it only goes down to my shoulder blades. My hair is pretty curly so it only really looks like it goes down to my shoulders. That said I downloaded the app and gave myself long hair and a beard and I LITERALLY look like Jesus.. No exaggeration lmao

Hey Thomas I have a question. What about hair maintenance? I just cut myself the endings every few months but should I go to the saloon and ask for something? I don't want to make it shorter, at the moment it keeps the same length because some hairs fall off etc. I use good products so in terms of cleaning, nutrients and hydration I'm taking care of it.

it works on any face shape because you can mold it any way you want to suit your face. For me I found out that adding a little volume to the top accentuates a longer face, it works well because it counters my baby face.

I'm at the point to where I can tie my hair back but my sides are still not long enough to reach the back. Not sure if this works for everyone but I realize that shampoo just makes my hair too dry and unmanageable so I stop. Haven't shampooed in 6 months. Long hair will suit EVERYONE except a nano fraction of the population (excluding, obviously baldness 😬. Although, science has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years 👍.) It's all about how you carry yourself, to what style is best suited for your face and more importantly the length. Cheers dudes ✌️.
