Having only been to Paris once, I can honestly say that every single thing I experienced was 100% worth any traffic, jam or overcrowding. Yes, it might be a little inconvenient, but Paris is so worth it!❤

Tourists are afraid of the Olympics : there is almost nobody in popular highlights such as musée d Orsay (no queue yesterday), tour Montparnasse observation deck… come and enjoy !

We were in Paris October 2017 - delightful and not too crowded except Versailles - even the Louvre wasn’t too crowded - a friend took a picture of Mona and me with no one else in it! We were in Paris April 2024 and OMG it was too, too crowded - even on a windy, rainy day the top of the arch was crowded - couldn’t imagine where the people were expected to fit for the Olympics - the taxi scams were much worse this trip too 😢

Me and my parents returned from Paris two days ago (my second time and their first). We did see the Louvre, Sainte Chapelle and Les Invalides and we made the most of it despite the crowds. When I was doing my research for the trip, I pinned all of the museums in Paris that were part of the Paris Museum Pass and I was intrigued by some the less popular museums on the list. They include several small art museums, the archeology museum under Notre Dame and even the chapel where Marie Antoinette is buried. Outside of the Paris Museum Pass, I came across the Bourdelle and Post Office museums near Montparnasse and a wine museum near the Passy metro stop. Perhaps this could be a topic in future video, lesser known museums in Paris away from all the crowds and with something for everyone (history, art, fashion, culture, etc).

Hi guys, I visited Paris in November. And it was so empty 😅 In the room with the beautiful Mona Lisa were max. 5 people or even 0. As an art lover I took 20 minutes to look at the Mona Lisa in a nice quiet environment. All other attractions were also normally visited or nearly empty.

I feel fortunate that I was able to visit so many places in France in the 70s, when there wasn’t as much tourism and not so many crowds. Well, except Mont St Michel, where I remember the tiny streets being clogged in the summer. Now in MY 70s, there are some places I have no desire to go back to see because of the crowds. When I returned to France in 2015, after an absence of more than 20 years, I discovered Lyon. In many ways it reminded me of the Paris of my youth. I’ve spent a lot of time there on return trips. So much history… and TWO rivers. I enjoy your videos. Maybe I’ll bump into you when I’m back in Paris in the fall!

You can also get a tent or a van or renting a car and visit France at your own pace :) (Like many Germans, Dutch or British do) Follow the Michelin green routes for tons of beautiful landscapes, eat fresh affordable local food, and meet people who love helping each other. The French road network is of excellent quality, even though you don't have to utilise overpriced motorways. The country side is very safe. It's a great way to visit France for the ones who enjoy simultaneously nature and culture.

7:21 those photos are gorgeous! I want to thank Les Frenchies for all your wonderful videos and guides. When my wife told me she wanted to spend our honeymoon in Paris, I was not that excited due to everything I’ve heard. But when doing my research to plan the trip, your channel helped immensely from restaurant reviews to safety tips. Even learning how to buy the Navigo pass and riding the metro. Our hotel was extremely impressed we came in with our passes ready. We just got back from our 9 days in Paris and it was the most wonderful time. Now I’m learning French for when we plan to go back!

Went to Etretat many years ago to visit the Maurice LeBlanc museum because I was reading his Arcene Lupin novels. We visited Mont St Michel one December and literally had it to ourselves.

Not really an alternative to Versailles, but I honestly enjoyed the sprawling Versailles gardens more than the palace! Great place for picnic and a wonderful escape from the crowds. Best of all, no lines!

I went to Mt St Michel last week. Wasn't very bad at all. The Louvre was busy. but, I went at 9am and the Mona Lisa room was almost empty when I went through. Just go in the early morning. ...also, the French run in terror when a couple drops of rain come out. go out if there is rain in thr forecast.

I also find the easiest way to avoid crowds is to get to places EARLY. When I went to the louvre, we made a list of our must see pieces, then hurried to them as soon as the doors opened.

Thanks for talking about the overcrowding in Paris, its the same in NYC too. But you are right about there being other spots to get great photos and other spots to eat that are less expensive and have great atmosphere and decor . Happy and safe traveling.

I was at the Tour Eiffel just earlier today and really couldn’t believe the sheer amount of people standing in the middle of the road for their shots of the tower!

I agree. Why come during high season? We’re coming in February for Valentine’s Day, which for me, is just as romantic than any other time of year in Paris. Sure it will be cold, but that doesn’t bother us. It will be less crowded. Airfare and hotel prices are drastically lower. And we’ll still have a wonderful time. I can feel it.

I bet February will be a great time to be there. And I was surprised in both January and December that the weather was quite mild temperature wise. The thing that took getting used to is how early it gets dark. They kept the Christmas lights up longer than we were used to in January because some brightness and light to the darkness which can be gloomy for some. And if you like the eeriness of the dark, try Venice in off season. It’s like that movie, Don’t Look Now. I was there in March one year. No one there, low lying fog and a backdrop that feels like your own private spooky movie. Really fun though

Our favorite trips to Paris, with trips from there were in January and March. In last few years we also went in June, too hot and somewhat too crowded (early June) and in December. The Christmas decorations were spectacular but it was very crowded then too. It was also cheaper to fly in off season too

Wow! I've just returned to South Africa today after 5 days in Paris. Firstly, Sharon and I did the Le Calife dinner cruise on Thursday evening due to your KZfaq video. It was absolutely amazing Thanks for that. We were in MontMartre yesterday which I think is my favourite place in Paris. Had a drawing done for my daughter and grand son. Yes, Paris is overcrowded, and I went to all the sights in this video, but I loved every moment being there. The buzz/vibe is unmatched, and we've been to quite a few world cities. I could go on and on, but I don't want to bore you. Oh, by the way, the Navigo Decouverte card was perfect for us(thanks to your recommendation once again). The "unfriendly" Parisiennes didn't exist for us. Thanks to you guys, you've made our Paris experience amazing. The Parisienne Authorities need to employ you as their promotion company😂. During our vacation planning about a year ago, it was a toss up between London and Paris, and we're happy that we made the correct decision. Thanks for your amazing channel. Was just in Paris last week, probably my 4th or 5th time. The more i visit the faster i want to leave each time. I like the food, culture, and history. The crowds were still tolerable since not yet peak of summer. What i hate about Paris is the traffic, confusing road signs, smell of pee every few metres you walk anywhere, smoking/vaping everywhere, and avoid walking on to dog poop. All that has been getting worse since i first visited in 2016. Even the locals we spoke to, complain the same thing too. It is bliss the moment you step out of Paris and the air is 100 times fresher and better.

I started traveling to Europe in Autumn 20 years ago because it was less expensive but mainly due to competition for summer vacation time where I worked-it was cut-throat! Autumn is far less crowded, the weather is pleasant & my BFF & I are looking forward to visiting Paris & Normandy this October (& eating our way thru the Left Bank 😋). I don't like traveling at all. I prefer to stay at home. Most of the tourist attractions have online tours. For me it doesn't matter if I see something in person or online. People say by not going in person you don't get the full experience. This may be true but crowds and airline travel isn't for me. And if I want to try some good food I look up the recipe and make it myself. Watching Les Frenchies is my best form of traveling 🙂

I relate to this. I don't seem to "travel well," especially internationally. I always get sick for some reason. The internet takes us everywhere and is much kinder on the wallet! I do live in NYC so I get my cosmopolitan fix in my home town.

These are such great recommendations-I personally don't like over tourism and rather go out of a season. I would love to see what time of year you recommend going to some places and tourist sites in Paris or France.

I always travel to Paris in September-October - The wheather is beautiful (most of the time) - Like Coleen I've been there many times but still discover places I never knew existed - It takes a lifetime to see everything in Paris - Unfortunately, being so much in love with Paris, I have neglected other regions of France except Ardèche where my in-laws were born. A neglected part of France by tourists, but quite beautiful and the food was excellent (as everywhere in France)

Your viral photo comment is spot on. I'd add the Sainte-Chapelle and Musée de l'Orangerie to this list. I went to the first one a couple of weeks ago in mid-June, and while the crowds weren't so bad that I skipped it this time (my third time considering visiting it), there were enough people inside that I didn't linger for very long. I visited the Orangerie last October, and it was the one museum on that trip that I chose to visit where I couldn't buy a ticket online on the day of. Your viral moments comment resonated here in a big way with so many people taking selfies or having photos of themselves being taken by others in front of the water lilies made it seem like the focus was less on the paintings. I felt bad for them, and it made it difficult for the rest of us to take in the paintings and how they're displayed alongside each other.

I did not have any problems when going to France after Christmas last year (2023) to celebrate the day before my birthday (December 27, 2023) and on my birthday (December 28, 2023)! Was able to go up the Eiffel Tower at night on my birthday (December 28, 2023) and before going up it I took a photo op with the Eiffel Tower (at night) and took a video record of it (Eiffel Tower) at night when it sparkles every hour for 5 mins! Ever since my time going to France 🇫🇷 before my birthday and on my birthday last year I have been picking up speaking French by learning 1-2 french words every week! Living in New York City, I would never travel to Paris in season. Why would l want to deal with massive crowds when I live in that daily! The social media photo taking is completely insane. We saw multiple people walking around museums filled with incredible art and never LOOKING AT THE ART, they just walked from famous painting to famous painting stopping only to take selfies in front of them (and blocking the view of people who want to see the art). That and the women touristing in flowey skirts twirling on the street and looking over their shoulder for their partner to take the same photo or video that thousands of others have taken and posted. The experiences they are missing out on 🥺

Those wedding photos are DARLING! We were in Paris May of 2023, and that seemed to be a good time. Also, re: Montmartre, we wandered away from the Basilica and explored some side streets. Very few people around there! Am hoping our next visit will be in April, and we plan to expand our travel to other cities in France as well. Your videos are so helpful!

My husband and I visited France in April/May of this year. We THOUGHT we were going off season. However, our visit in April of the Musée d'Orsay was crazy, even with our timed entry! There were enormous crowds. The area around one Van Gogh painting was so crowded that we simply gave up on viewing the painting. The crowds pretty much ruined our visit, because how can you enjoy the artwork with so many people around every painting? Also, rather than just viewing the paintings, many people had to photograph them. I think the government should seriously consider greater limits on the number of people in this museum.

We visited in February this year, only for 4 days, but it was wonderful and the crowds were very manageable. We visited Versailles on a Saturday and by the time we got to the Hall of Mirrors it was very crowded. I’d recommend a weekday to alleviate some of that.

I was at the Louvere 2 days ago. It looked exactly like this. It’s rough trying to enjoy these things when it’s so crowded and packed. It’s prevented me from taking pictures because I don’t want pics full of unknown people. It’s also disgustingly humid and gross. Paris doesn’t believe in A/C or fans. They loved everything sealed in an airless stuffy coffin of a car, bus, train, building. If you love sweating all day just standing and never cooling off. Paris is for you.

We just got back from France a couple of weeks ago. Paris was its typical busy self, fast paced by not crazy. As an airline family we usually travel to Europe during the shoulder seasons May and September to miss the big crowds. Cheers

A nice video. I've been many times in Paris, I love the city and agree about overtourism. Just one thing about the Louvre: the place is very, very large so if you goes far from the most popular attractions, like the Mona Lisa and goes to other parts of the museum you could see several amazing masterpieces in a much calmer place.

Your video recommends not visiting these sites between May-September so I thought I'd share our experience from our visit last June. We went to Versailles on a beautiful Sunday and had no crowds. There was no line to get in and nothing was overcrowded. We stayed until closing and had a great experience. We also went to Mont St. Michel for two days--a late afternoon Saturday and the following morning, and had no crowds. We had timed tickets for the abbey late afternoon and walked right in. We got to walk around the sand and then see the tide rush in. The following morning we found the sheep pasture and were the only two people there. We arrived back at the island to find no crowds and were able to walk around, have breakfast, hear the church bells and do some exploring. We visited Etretat and found no crowds. It was one of the least crowded places we visited and it was less crowded than Rouen. There was no traffic and we had no issues parking. The beach and town was nice and not crowded at all. We visited the outdoor art display with the giant heads and there was barely anyone else there. We went up the Eiffel Tower for sunset with timed tickets and didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes to go up. It was not too crowded and we saw a beautiful sunset. We visited the Louvre on a Friday night since that is the only night it is open until 9. We figured it would be less crowded on Friday night and we were correct. There was no line to get in and nothing was crowded inside. We waited about 2-3 minutes to see the Mona Lisa and there was no one around the Venus de Milo. We spent 4 nights in Montmarte. Sacre Couer was crowded but many of the other areas of Montmarte were not. We also walked around Sacre Couer at 8 am and virtually had the place to ourselves. We found that any site with timed tickets was very enjoyable with no crowd issues. The most crowded place we visited was Giverny, but it was still absolutely beautiful and enjoyable.

What a terrific video. I’ve had so many friends say to me that they had a terrible time in Paris when they were there in June or July. This overcrowding was one of the main reasons. They are perplexed that I come back from my trips (Nov-Dec and March-April) with so many positive things to say. May I add one more overcrowded place? Giverny. Even going in April, the crowds were stressful for me. Here it is, a gorgeous garden and pond, filled with stunning flowers, and I wanted it to be a peaceful experience. Instead, busloads of people kept streaming in, and there were bottlenecks along the narrow garden pathways. Perhaps one of the issues with Giverny is that they close it down for several months, so that when it reopens in April, people are sort of frantic to be there…? Anyway, thanks again for this video.

Fantastic review of busy places, I took my wife 2 weeks ago, we did all the tourist stuff and I agree that the arc de triomphe was a better view, Versailles was amazing but so busy, we had to go as that’s where my wife wanted to go most. We didn’t bother with the sacré-coeur as I know it’s very busy, the 2nd arrondissement was an amazing place to stay, everything was near by, keep up the good work ❤

Thank you for telling people NOT to put locks. Everyone does it and that's why it's a problem. It was cute when it was just a Paris/French thing, we don't need millions of locks from people all over the planet, it's basically littering. As a Parisian, thank you for showing other stuff outside the capital. Other regions are also beautiful with lots of stuff to eat, it's a shame only Paris gets all the attention. Paris is great but there's just too many tourists gathered at the same places. Also, thank you for telling people that Airbnb is killing locals. Literally. People make thousands more by renting airbnbs instead of regular locations, which is kicking us out faster than before and also causing the over-tourism issues since hotels are more regulated/limited in growth than airbnbs. It takes much more time and money to build a hotel than turn an flat into an airbnb, which means there's no way for the city to control how many tourists its gonna welcome at maximum.

I'm taking a friend in December & January to France. It's her 1st time. I know there will be crowds, but hopefully, it's not too bad. We are staying on Mont Saint Michel for 3 days, so hopefully, we'll find some quiet time.

I went with my children to Paris from Christmas to New Years and almost everything we wanted to do involved getting a timed ticket and although it meant not being able to get into certain things I'm glad that those places were sold out so that we could divert our attention elsewhere rather than spend a long time waiting in lines. I would also recommend the Paris Flea Market. Once you get past the vendors selling apple products the market was fun to browse, lacking tourists and really enjoyable. But you do have to go through a bunch of junk sellers on the outskirts of the market before you get to the real paris flea market.

Because of the crowds, last year we went to St. Malo instead of Mont St.- Michel. Loved it! As for the Mona Lisa, it definitely felt like Disneyland in summer. 😳

I am so very fortunate to have been to Paris multiple times. March of 2023 was my last visit. You were so very helpful as there were protests going on and you gave me the real story not the media take. Having been able to go in the past years I am so thankful. It seems almost everywhere has tourist overload. Thanks for your most informative videos.

When you mention alternative months to visit Paris then those months can also become as busy as other months .Paris is busy and will always be busy . It’s about how people behave when they visit Paris and other places in France .

I heartily recommend you two check out Le Mans. We are F1 fans so we took the bullet train from Paris and were surprised to see more of the city than just the racetrack - beautiful historic neighborhoods, cathedral... and we were surprised by La Nuit des Chimères --which is a free sound and light show in which major monuments are lit up at night, so cool!

I think people need to decide what they really like to do and build a destination around that. It’s just too easy to book a flight and then everyone goes to the Louvre so they can get it on the gram. If you like art go find an art piece that speaks to you. I think the armory museum is neat, maybe Americans might like it better anyway. If you don’t really care about art stay in the cafes because there are people that go just for the art. If travelers really thought about it they might choose to skip somethings. You might be missing out on the sultry jazz club with amazing wine off the beaten path. It takes more work but it will be more rewarding and memorable

I recommend getting the first or second time slot and skip the line tickets then going straight to the Mona Lisa if you really want to avoid the crowds and get good pics.

We were just in France last week. I can say please do not miss Mont St. Michele! I was reading up on it as my husband drove . We arrived at 4pm when the tour buses had left for the day. Perfect timing! Got to see the Abbey, at 5:30 , it closed at 7 pm. My second time there, my first time to see the Abbey! We had dinner there, many shops were still open. It’s magical! Our teenager boys with us too and enjoyed it! Sadly we missed Giverny, but got to see Etretat the day before at sunset. Should have eaten at a nice restaurant first at the base because nothing was open after sunset, at 10:30 pm. We saw Omaha beach and the American cemetery could have used two more days to have been more leisurely at the D-day locations and Deauville. We will plan a week in this area in the future. Be aware, we were in Paris, our second ( my 4th)and probably last time in the Louvre. Sad, it’s just not enjoyable. Many Americans were feeling it too( arguing).Too hot, got lost, the text/calling didn’t work. We had a meet up point if we lost each other… sadly it was in the main lobby , difficult to re-enter. So if you do this pick two meet up places one inside the general area . Also Verizon had a universal outage and our reception was out. So planned to get transportation to the Eiffel Tour after, no Uber or way to get a taxi. Originally thought a Batobus would be ideal, as we had done in the past, they weren’t working. I’m not certain how the Olympics will work out. It was hot, we needed constant water, we were exhausted and walked to the Charles de Gaulle bridge, set up with stadium seats for the Olympics. We wandered close to the Champs de Ellysse and spotted a restaurant and ordered a meal, and then an Uber to our Air b n b. It was difficult as we couldn’t get reception unless in a restaurant. My boys said the highlight of France were Mont St. Michele and Etretat. We were fortunate to visit them both when the crowds had gone. Ideal timing! Etretat we walked all over, 3 hours of “ Oh my gosh this is beautiful! “ Eat first or bring a picnic, as we saw others doing.

Thanks for confirming our travel plans to France this October. While we will be in Paris for 3 days we are spending the rest of the time around the country enjoying the little villages and culture in the various regions. We still can't see all that we expect within this timeframe so will be back to visit the places we left out and some more time in Paris.

Hi guys. You are so right on the mark with this helpful video. When we lived in the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, during the Summer, the village was overwhelmed with bus loads of tourists. While it is good for the merchants, it was not for us residents. Not only was it impossible to just walk in the village, tourists would wander the village at night, talking loudly while we were trying to sleep. Still though, we still love the village.

Really enjoy your videos. Went to Mont St Michael in November from St Malo by the local bus. Found a room quickly, was a little gloomy but absolutely no crowds. I have been to France many times and I personally think November is the best month for us.

Great video and suggestions. I had a medical emergency, many years ago, at a very crowded tourist destination in my home state. It took quite a while for first responders to reach me due to the volume of people.

I love you Antoine and Colleen, but I do not agree with you on this one! It's a privilege to be able to be in Paris during the Olympics especially because of the opening ceremony being on the Seine. I just don't understand people losing the opportunity of being part in some way of this magnificent event. What is wrong with you people? Some parisians are leaving the city because of the crowds? It's the Olympics in your country, in your city, for God's sake! You should be there! What a shame for those leaving! In a couple of years when your grandchildren ask you what was it like during the Olympics in Paris, you're going to say that you missed it because of the crowds. How sad! I'm not french but I have been to Paris many times and I plan to be there during the Olympics. I'm going for the experience at this special time and for the food. I've visited most monuments and sightseeings so I don't think the crowds will bother me much. If I as a tourist know what I can do or where I can go to avoid crowds, I just don't get it about some parisians fleeing the city. It sounds a little bit snobbish! Oh my God! I'm saying something negative about the French for the first time in my life!

To be fair, one thing to consider is that for most Americans for example, we get maybe 2-3 weeks of vacation a year. And if you have children or your employers company follows a school based project schedule like most in the US do, you take your vacations when your boss allows you. Which is summer or christmas. And Paris is from most US cities a direct flight and a city to get many fun activities packed in when you only get 7-14 paid days off per half year or year compared to 35+. So it is very easy to complain about tourists all coming in the summer. But it's reality of what can work for families. I recently moved to Paris for work this month and the tourists imo are noticeably less. The constant complaining of how many tourists there will be during the Olympics has actually kept them away. As i am hearing now as well that apartments and hotels started to drop prices after lower than expected tourist bookings. I live in a quiet part of the city and i have also noticed something that suprised me greatly: The French are MUCH MUCH louder and talkative than Americans. I was shocked when i noticed this and glad i moved to the part of the city that i did because it can be super overstimulating. But again the other shock is how few tourists i am seeing. The majority are French or French speaking in the cafes and other sites. This may not be the case for other nationalites, but mentioned it as I feel like tourists get a bad rap for just trying to enjoy someone elses country. Which should be an honor. The French vacation south anyways. But truly the tourist aspect , just from what i am seeing currently, and certainly outside the Lourve and Eiffel T, I feel is a bit snippy (just in general, not Les Frenchies directly) and exaggerated.

I went summer of 2016 and there were so many violent terrorist attacks going on that year that my niece and I had an entire Seine cruise boat all to ourselves. We were the ONLY paying customers. Surreal, I can tell you. Also, the Eiffel Tower and Louvre weren't overly crowded, and neither was Notre Dame. What I want to know is, what about the Christmas season? Are these places over-crowded then too? I'd love to spend Christmas in Paris!

Thanks for the vlog, really interesting. Just a shout out for the Ariege and the Aude and the coastline running up to the spanish border. Busy but not hectic during the season with access to the med and the Pyrenees for skiing within a quick drive either way. Another factor is that if you go out of season then a lot of the restaurants and cafe/bars will be closed or open on limited days. There are no night markets outside the summer months. Another point about the Air B&B is that the supply of rentals has nothing to do with the letting through Air. There is no shortage of property with rental potential. It is totally down to the regulations governing long term lettings and the impossibility of getting out difficult tenants or tenants with families that simply stop paying the bills and squat. Most Air are let by people who live in them during the off season and let while they go away or crash on a friends sofa to make a couple of quid while they can. Until the govt. enables landlords to give notice to quit and this can be carried out then there will always be a shortage and it won't be taken up by Air B&B landlords.

I am currently in Paris staying Airbnb unfortunately just like the 2 previous in other Italian locations…terrible. absolutely horrendous in 2 of them! dirty beyond belief 3 X floors step spiral death staircase!!! yes…really that bad! And they charged me at least $100 Australian for the privilege! These hosts had no business being in hospitality…. just money grabbing and didn’t provide the basic like decent sheets bed was most shocking I will never do Airbnb again. These hosts were deceitful in their on line profile everything was an absolute fraud!!!

We like Paris, a lot! We rent an apartment in the 14th (few tourists), spend our time in secondary and tertiary attractions, strolling through the many parks, and lounging in cafe's outside high tourist areas. Same with restaurants. You can do as good or better in the 14th as you can any place else. Cafe Felice but there are many others, restaurant Petit Baigneur.

And everywhere else, too. Travel in the off-seasons. Paris is April is lovely - so what is 50-60 degrees? You got a sweater? The underlying problem for most every country is that there are just too many people on the planet. I have no answer for that.

Good video, I may be able to visit France in summer 2026. Definitely visiting Paris and I'll try to see Montmartre, Musée d'Orsay, Le Louvre (I might skip the Mona Lisa), other city museums, Stade Yves du Manoir in Colombes, les Bois de Vincennes, and other places. For other places other than Paris, I'd consider Normandy, Burgundy, and I'll see if Limousin is doable since I can trace ancestry back there in the 16th Century.

Fun fact about me: my first trip outside of North America was a grad program in Brussels for May(and I went to Paris a lot.) Et j'ai voyagé sans mon mari et mon appareil photo! (I’m practicing, don’t mind me…) I wanted to enjoy my time without distractions, and I did! Alas, no photographic memories. (Traveling companions are actually quite practical sometimes. Who knew? 😉) I also believe that over the past two decades, tourism to some locations has spun out of control.

Skip the Mona Lisa it is tiny and unimpressive! If can go off peak is better crowds wise. Also buy beat the queue tickets if you can as I didn't for Eiffel Tower and the wait is very long and not pleasant in heat. Years ago went for NYE and it was great with the xmas lights and atmosphere.

Wow. The levels of tourism are insane. Went to MSM in February. There was a bit of rain, but the crowds were mostly going up all those stairs. Stay overnight. The crowds are gone, and you can explore in peace. Been to Paris three times, never got near to the ETower. Angelina's overrated. Loved Montmarte, but we stayed there and explored the quieter parts. Breezed past Terte. Nightmare.
