@fragglet we do not have low tax, highest in generations. Last time we did was under Labour before Rishi Soon-Gone and allies smashed the banks in the USA 2008. We also have to reverse Brexit. To be honest the best we can hope for is fair taxes, not low.

Hopefully all this will be an irrelevant issue and Sunak will become the first incumbent PM in British history to lose his seat. He can then sulk off to California in his father in laws private jet, rather than pout on the backbench for another Parliament. I honestly believe the Tories need a seismic shock for their contemptuous, heartless terms in office. The worst period of government in my lifetime.

If Sunak wins his seat, I think he'll hang around for while - despite saying he'd stay for the whole parliament. If he loses his seat he'll be gone in a flash - he won't even stay around for the leadership contest.

If the polls are correct and Sunak leads the Tories to their worst ever defeat, he will be announcing he is standing down as leader by 4AM as the scale of the defeat becomes clear. Indeed he may even do it before his own seats declaration at approx 6AM

In this day and age of misinformation i really do not think there are two many debates. I for one am not tired of it. Its probably the most genuine direct line we have to the would be PMs and other leaders. More debates and more direct access to our MPs!

@marcdavies6963 •I am just hoping they are not daily it’s a headache,a Political Migraine I am going to be hugely grateful by the 5 Th ..We need to remember that it can’t all be fixed in one day but people will be working to hopefully make the Country a better place and focus on this country and what needs to be put into practice if we don’t have some sort of financial Equality but accept that any money we pay will be benefiting everyone there are places that have been just ignored and rather than levelled up ?Like hospitals and staff they are being abused ?No one gets paid for people not to just be polite and grateful.Nobody is superhuman the correct Policies will never work for everyone but as long as it helps the majority of people even post from daily max 3 X half days a week here ?Buses ?No drivers it’s like pot luck on a bad day -here a 2 hour gap daily -School buses that parents fund ether no show ?Or full up ?It’s not the drivers fault?They just simply have cut costs we have none after 5 pm and none on a Sunday ?Or bank Holliday

Debates can never be too many ...more needed...then stupid suggestions on sending people to Rwanda could be avoided. The exiled will be eventually re exiled back to Britain and the West in X many years who is to say not after being set upon by the natives because of being given preferential treatment. Of course, bringing with them aunts, uncles, grannies and many many unbirth children from all over the globe who followed them there. At 0:10 re. "listeners' questions ... that do overfloweth" - 'overfloweth' is archaic third person singular only. 'That do overflow' or 'that overflow' would be correct in the plural. Even in the singular it would be either 'that overfloweth' or 'that do overflow'. So not really sure why Rachel has chosen to say this.

I have heard rumours that Sunak plans to move to the United States following the General Election. The story was that he had a new home and job lined up in California. I have absolutely no idea whether or not it's true or not but to be honest it all sounds a bit fanciful.

I’m no fan of Sunak but he’s far less responsible for the mess the tories are in than most Tories. He at least can say he did furlough and some schemes that did genuinely help some people whether you believe they were right or not. Far better than Truss and Johnson and I’d say May as well. The party was done when he took over and I’d wager these constant “gaffes” are designed in order for the powers that be at the Tory party to rebrand under a new leader putting the last 14 years of blame on Sunak.

The election campaign is far too long, or at least it feels like it's dragging along. The TV debates have always been a load of rubbish in my mind, they're basically just a media exercise for the political journalists and TV stations to get excited about- which was the best format, which presenter asked the most 'gotcha' question, which politician looked the most uncomfortable- none of which ever shifts the dial really and I never learn anything that I haven't already learnt by reading the party's policies. The whole Farage hysteria that the media seems obsessed by really points to the fact that the UK in general elections is only a parliamentary democracy in name only, the whole system is basically a presidential election.

I'm sure he will resign as leader straight away because the defeat will be so big, and he will have to take responsibility for it. He will also use that as an excuse as to why he can't stay in UK politics anymore, having been rejected by the country. I'm sure his wife wants him to leave uk politics behind, it's probably embarrassing for her, and she wants to get on with just focusing on money, that's the only thing Sunak is good at, making money! Sooner he leaves the better! Imagine if he stayed in parliament? Who is going to listen to such a loser!?
