But these psychopaths (in my opinion) like Hamill sprout so much hate about sane normal people who want to be left alone and most also don't want their childhood memories ruined/destroyed or used for political bs. The only situation in which I’d give this a try is the cumulation of the following: 1) KK fired 2) Disney acknowledges they went woke and that was a mistake 3) They disavow the sequels and all the terrible series they have made and call the not cannon. This should be a reset to follow the original trilogy,

No thanks … nostalgia over Luke can’t undo Dismay’s egregiousness in to turning Star Wars into Stark Woke, how they treated Gina, the fanbase, and their social and political propaganda and programming! Instead of “killing the past” that is where I am turning to for entertainment along with a smattering of current IPs like Godzilla Minus One (and I not a huge Godzilla fan) and eyeing Jackson’s return to the LoTR universe.

As much as I'd like to never give Disney the benefit of the doubt, I remind myself that Picard: Season 3 was actually really good. I didn't see Picard Seasons 1 or 2, and vow not to. But for whatever reason, even a group of woke morons can hire a good showrunner, stay out of his (or her) way, and let something 7-out-of-10+ happen. Does it fix the sins of the past? No. Does it give me hope for the future? Also no. But I won't write off the chance that a Luke Skywalker movie could, in fact, be successful and enjoyable as a one-off. After all, desperate times call for desperate measures, and Disney may just cave in and make something fans actually want to see.
