Can you please do a video about what you do when you have a ferret and want to go somewhere for a long time. For example like a 5 day camping trip. What do you do with your ferret?

Bring them with you! Ferrets are really good in road trips. Just make sure they are safe. If you cannot bring them with you go to a local shelter or your vet and they might take care of your ferrets, at a cost, when your gone. You can also ask someone you personally know to care for them.

I have been vegan for a long time & I feed raw to my ferrets! The way I see it is, yes we may be contributing to animal farming but if we didn't we would be directly causing suffering to our companion animals. So you kinda have to weigh it out, would you rather indirectly cause suffering to farmed animals or directly cause suffering to your companion animals you spend every day with? It'd be like having a pet snake and trying to feed it grapes. There is nothing wrong with being vegan and at the same time wanting to do the absolute best thing you can for your companion animals, which is a balanced, raw diet. 💕

I am planning on making my own cage out of wood. Is there any type of wood that's bad for ferret d? Probably not but I'm just trying to be careful. I panick about little things.

in my country i can't seem to find fresh green tripe. i only found dried green tripe at an online petstore. would that be a good option? could i give yogurt for probiotic? or better yet, kefir (homemade)? would anu mussels be good? like, the simple black ones. i've never seen any other type here fresh. i did find supplements for the green ones.

Mixing lemon with water is a good solution. It is safe for your ferrets! If you are looking for a cleaning solution, I have used lemon and vinegar mixed together. It is a eco-friendly cleaning solution.

Hey! I’ve been wanting a ferret for a long time now, and I watch your channel all the time! I have done my research, and have been watching your videos to learn more about ferrets and how I can give my future ferret it’s best life. Sadly my parents don’t really like them☹️ so I’m trying to save up money to get one, so maybe they would let me. I just have a question, I have a dog (she’s a shih-tzu mixed with a mini poodle) if I get a ferret, will there be problems between the ferret and my dog. I saw in another video on another channel that they get along well, but is that true? I just wanted to ask you since you probably know. It really depends on the personality of your future ferrets and dog. There is no way to tell for sure. Either way if they ever interact ***always*** supervise it.

:( not cat food, go raw! She has many vids on ferret food do look them up :D they are very useful! I recently switched to raw and the change in my ferret was immediately noticed

[Mod] I agree, go raw, not cat food. Even though ferrets are similar to cats, their diet is not the same. Plus the dangers of kibble apples to dogs and cats too. So it really is not good for your ferrets. Go raw, it is cheaper overall. Think about all the vet visits you will avoid when feeding raw. Think about it as an investment for your ferrets’ health. Paying for raw allows you to avoid costs of vet visits that can be avoided with a balanced raw diet.

Bryn has said in previous videos, that if you can’t feed raw, its recommended to go for high quality wet kitten food. Wet kitten food is much more nutritionally accurate for the dietary requirements for ferrets. Using wet food is much better. I hope this helped, sorry for being late! Edit: though using kitten food shouldn’t be the main source of food. If you need to feed them something while you have an order of raw or something, them thats fine. Raw is always better!!

Depending on were you live I would buy a ferret from a place called animal house it's in Cincinnati but if not try to buy one from a family owned place a shelter or the best is to adopt

Hi, I am 10 about to be 11 and I am hoping for a ferret on my birthday, which is in 6 weeks. I have done a tone of research and am prepared. I have one question I know how Bryn talks a lot about how to not get your ferret from a pet store, but I am thinking about getting one from pets palace and I don't know if that's a shelter or a pet store nor do I know if it is ok for me to get ferrets from there. So anyone who has the answer to both of these questions it would be so helpful if you would answer them.

It’s ok to get them from shelter or rescue centers but don’t get them from pet stores like petco because they come from pet mills which is supporting a terrible business/care for ferrets.

eronc100 Pet Palace is a pet store, NOT a shelter. If you need to find a shelter in the U.S. go to petfinder.com, go to small and furry select ferrets. Put in your city and it will find shelters around you!
