Hi Clay, my ex told me that my attempts to connect on a deeper level with her seemed weird since I never asked those kinds of questions when we were together. She said she trusts me enough now to tell me if something is on her mind and for me to knock it off with trying to dig in deeper, she already has a therapist, she said. Lol I guess that's a win.

Maybe the way you ask the questions came in a bit unnatural that is why she is feeling that kind of vibe as well. Try to loosen at a bit in order to have a more natural conversation.

@keithbrown2425 yea he did . Her and him failed and he hoovered multiple times and I was caught in the loop of him using me and going back to her numerous times. Until I had enough of being hurt . I was in denial of who he was. We must make the final discard or they will keep repeating the cycle . Idealized, love bomb, devalue, discard . Stay strong

Hello again Clay! My ex and I have been talking a lot recently in a positive manner and we plan on meeting up at her house for a movie night, but she still insists that we're are only friends. We have been flirting a lot with each other, but I still get hit with hot and cold behavior from her. I'm wondering if I should talk about a possible relationship with her or just build up the emotional connection with her? She has a boyfriend that she has been hiding but I know about him, and this is not the first boyfriend she's had since we broke up. Anyways keep up the great work, your videos have been a tremendous help this past year!

I also want to add that she's had a very emotional year due to serious health problems, which is why I think she's having these short term relationships, While still wanting me in her life. She told me recently that I'm her best friend. I don't know if this additional info helps but there it is, haha. Again, thank you for the videos!

@@jgiroux333 do not become friends with your ex. explicitly say you want the romance or nothing at all. At this point she should be doing 100% of the reaching out. All you need to do is set dates over the phone. Don't text too much, wait until you are in person to talk about things. That will stop the hot and cold. You are probably texting her too much or reaching out and so when you go to ask to hang out, she gets cold feet. Your phone at this point should only be used to set dates. On the first meet up do not focus on talking on the relationship. That discussion should be brought up by her only and usually happens after the third hangout. Also, make her come to you. She dumped you, why are you going to her place for a movie?

@@viewtiful457 Nah she changed after OUR breakup and became a woman I wouldn't be interessed in... started a relationship with a guy who has some similarities with me in terms of look and personality. This also don't went well and ended in big drama... Now she looks kinda like I met her but had another failed relationship... I mean, wtf... She doesn't even allow herself any breaks and time being single. Desperately looking for "the one" but destroying her trust and believe in love with every new failed relationship... I know her for over 10 years now... in the meantime she went through 6 years of marriage-hell and a hard divorce. I love her since we met... but because bullshit happened, she wanted to "throw me out of her life" like she does with every person, who is getting too close to her. If you tell her your opinion about any of her behavior, she completely goes nuts. While she does also things that hurt... but " I'm only a man... men need to tolerate these things, while she doesn't accept when you, as a man are hurt or get angry " She had a very hard childhood, no real family/parents and a borderline phase in her teenage years... Even tho she thinks she is healed, in those situtions, one can feel, that nothing is healed and she cant be in a healthy relationship... and I'm an idiot, and still love her so much... sitting here and enjoying the "show" what happens in her life... But I doubt she wants to talk to me again :( Throwing people away is easier than fixing something "big" that could have worked but requires some investment in feelings, more talks and more time... But no, she wants it now... and cant wait... if you dont throw your love at her, next... But that was exactly the problem... knowing her story, it was hard for me to show her my real feelings because I(!) tried not to get hurt. So sad. Still love her. Would do quite a lot to talk to her again and talk about what happened and why... and that her fears not being loved are pointless... well 🤔😔 sorry... a lot of text 🤣

He broke up with me 3 months ago and immediately started dating a 19 year old. They've been dating for 2 months now and he even posted pictures on his socials of the two of them and plans a lot of dates.. I miss him everyday but it breaks my heart seeing he does all those things for her and could not do them for me. Will he come back?

Hi Lofis, I have to be honest with you that we may not be able to see the future. But what we can do is to help you work on your goals in order to achieve them. We always believe that chance and hope to make the relationship work will always be there. It should not be defined by any form of validation but it depends on the actions that we take and refuse to do. We only lose our chance if we give up. There is always a chance to work things out if you are committed and willing to put in the work. If you're just going to give up at the first road bump you hit, then all bets are off.

what if it was 2 days haha and evrry other rebound has only been days aka he does this when he feels im pulling away soooo good chance hell stop acting immuture and be him maybe maybe not i have no worries i miss him but i have been self improving and self healing because thats better and healthier to do for me when waiting for him to overcome his insecurity of rejection which he has more of a chance not getting with me but he still loves me and he admits he uses girls because hes scared to be alone as in uses just people to talk to he dosent do anything else i just ugh our years together was all about learning to grow individually and now we both just are so scared keepong an eye out for his text and honesty but i wont make him do anything i just have faith things will get better soon as they already seem to be happening

Indeed, Alisa. We can't force people to change. Sometimes, one has to distance herself as she heals and specially if the relationship isn't healthy anymore. You can only influence your ex to improve himself and hope that things will get better with him, and then your relationship with him.
