As much as we're evidently supposed to hate William, he's actually making the most sense here.

William was speaking facts. I don’t care what anyone has to say. Ulrich had a lot of insecurities regarding his relationship and feelings for Yumi. Ulrich always chickened out in the end, and William’s arrival made him uncomfortable because here’s someone that isn’t afraid to admit they like someone.

William is absolutely right. Ulrich likes Yumi. But has always been afraid to tell her how he feels. When a guy like William shows up, Ulrich gets jealous. Ulrich has been given the best advice of his life. If he doesn't talk to Yumi, he'll never get a chance with her.

William was reckless, full of himself and overly pushy. However he did seem to care for Yumi and her friends and he was certainly no bully regardless of his qualms with ulrich. I honestly don’t think William got a fair enough chance as part of team lyoko he stuck his neck out a lot for them before and after xana got a hold of him.

Look to be honest despite the differences Ulrich and Williams don't get along very well because of Yumi and honestly it's really hard to trust William 👈. I mean I'm not going to be wrong but I mean he did almost tell anyone who their secret they are I've kind of feel bad for him or I just feel like he's just a jerk sometimes but still he seems like a nice dude, Ulrich is also a cool dude as well sometimes later he did join the team the Lyoko until later on he was possessed by Xana no offense
