Jens Nygaard was a legendary conductor and musician. He heard music in a way that no one else did. He expressed it in a way that no one else could. Jens individual stamp was on all his performances. His unique bowings, extreme rhythmic vitality, brilliantly pared down orchestrations
when finances dictated that necessity, and maverick programing were all part of the most unique musical package I have ever encountered.
